Let's not kid ourselves, as much as I hate it,he'll end up with 15-20 goals at the end of the season, most of them tap-ins.

So we’ve basically charged Liverpool £130 million for Mick Quinn then. Brilliant bit of business.

Genuine pang of sadness and hint of nausea when I watched the highlights. I know we’re supposed to move on - @Dr Venkmanpass the klaxon - and ignore him but I think I’ll always find it difficult to watch him playing for such a loathsome club. The most galling aspect is the utter vindication of their collective delusion.

I hold onto this slightly pathetic hope that over time he’ll realise he’s playing for a worse coach and significantly inferior person, but I don’t think he gives any shade of shit because he has no shame bone.

That would be my guess. The stats nerd in me though says Ekitike is averaging two shots a game over four games and Isak had two in this game, both from the edge of the box. Two shots a game for your striker is not a recipe for lots of goals. They'll have to change the way they play, and do so without their big crosser (the league's biggest crosser) in Trent.

(fwiw, "he's not a striker!" Anthony Gordon has 10 shots is one game and 30 minutes this season)

That idea is rank. :anguish:

Fancy elaborating why you're convinced of that? Is that something you'd want to happen or just think it will?
