I’d say the difference between Isak and Owen is that Owen was a smarmy, heartless, tourist prick from day one which meant few people actually cared about him whereas Isak is most likely tattooed onto people’s bodies and probably has children named after him. Those weren’t his choices of course and he didn’t necessarily show us much love but it takes a fairly unique type of person to burn such a sturdy bridge in such a spectacular way for potentially minimal gain.

Isak is behind Cabbageheed in the "me! me!" cunt stakes for me. And Owen too, of course.

If Isak can develop into the best striker in the world and 125+5M proves to be a bargain price for the forced sale, the animosity will likely continue. If he continues to underperform in a somewhat clueless-looking setup and Wissa bangs em in, the 125+5M will seem like a very good price for him. Woltemade was not bought as our main striker, but has wildly outperformed Isak so far and is three years younger. Even Wissa with his exploded knee has outscored Isak (2 for Doctor Congo vs. 1 in the Carabao).

Isak will come good for them in time - unfortunately.

Raises a wee smile to see him struggling a bit though. What goes around, comes around.

I'm not so convinced.  Fernando Torres was undoubtedly a great player yet somehow flopped after a big money move to another PL rival.

Early signs would suggest that Isak won't fully flourish so long as Slot persists with Salah. I guess we'll find out once afcon begins.

The added pressure of Ekitike's performances demanding a starting spot is also delightful to see.

Slut strikes me as the type who will be willing to throw isak under the bus to take the heat off himself. He's one of those who can manage when everything is going great, but can't deal with setbacks and thought times, which we all know makes a manager (in any walk of life)

Still top for me.

Owen was a cunt, then we went down.

With Isak, we were brilliant for three years, then he was a cunt.

Don't blame anyone for putting Isak number one though.

Owen will always be the biggest cunt for me. He never wanted to be here, and was always yearning for Liverpool even while wearing our shirt. Isak was fine here until he got the opportunity to make more money and move to a club which is winning a lot more. He went about it in a cunt's way, but that seems to be the way with modern football these days when agents are involved.

I'm not so pissed at him going to Liverpool now, because I'm hoping they both fail together. Kill two birds with one stone.

But everyone is expecting Liverpool to start Isak up front now. It wouldn't be fair on other teams if Liverpool changed their line up without telling everyone so I expect Isak to be starting every game.

See Klopp

Also Arteta and even Guadiola. It's a measure of a man how he loses NOT how he wins. They all, to varying degrees, come out with bile
