That's really pissed me off.

The entire narrative has been driven by leaked stories from Liverpool/Isak side - Newcastle have said very little. "The silence has allowed others to push their own version of events". Who are you referring to here? The entire press narrative driven by Isak. Which others have capitalised on the "silence" (fuck off by the way) from Isak camp to push a narrative? Which paid journalists are pushing a version of events here which counters your entirely contrived recent narrative? Nob head.

Vent over.

Anyway, that's clearly a PR statement - not something he has typed into his phone whilst sitting bored in his Italian mates house, and assuming it is - he needs to sack whichever PR agency he has engaged because it is essentially devoid of facts and common sense. It's amateur. I could have done a better job myself and he wouldn't have to pay some PR agency or agent 10/15%.

Nob head (again). Also, fuck wit.

Reminds me of the Sharon Osbourne - Iron Maiden feud. She and her PR team kept on opening their mouths, condemning themselves in the process. Iron Maiden stayed dignified, and didn’t respond at all.

Frankly I’d be happy with the club not responding. Isak and his side are looking more and more like the cunts here.

Only statement I want or need from the club is a number. The exact amount of money (cumulatively) he's being fined for each breach of his contract. Updated weekly please on a Monday morning to help warm the cockles of my heart before another week of graft :aww:

I'm only amazed it doesn’t have a tagline from his betting partner, the absolute fucking tap in merchant fraud. The sooner the football regulator gets a grip of paid influencers masquerading as journalists like that cunt, the better.

It's fucking astounding. I mean, it's been blatant all summer what him and Ornstein have been orchestrating, but it's mostly been done with just enough restraint to prevent it being 100% obvious to a casual observer. That's like nowt I've ever seen before though...thoroughly blatant and shameless. He's been quiet for too long, that statement will be the klaxon that sets all the journo cunts off again, it's going to be utterly relentless now.

Exactly, with his behaviour, especially this.  His options are Saudi, Turkey, Scotland or Portugal on Loan.

You missed Russia.

Whilst I do agree they definitely suit each other down to the ground, above all I think we need to ensure he’s nowhere near there come Sept 1st. Even if it means farming him out to some team in Mexico, we cannot back down.

That would be the dream like. Having to go to Turkey or somewhere to get away.

I would happily see us struggle next summer due to PSR as a result of letting the horrible rat cunt rot rather than sell him.

I've been in the "just get rid of him at a good price and be done with it" camp until that statement. Now he can fucking rot in the reserves for me even if it fucks our season up.

Best case at this point is to sign 2 strikers anyway and risk the PSR hit on the basis that you'll be able to sell him next summer anyway.

At least we know it will have zero effect on the squad going forward (mentally). Of course we need strikers in, but they clearly haven’t let this effect them.

Yep, we have a top class manager. It’s the disrespect to Eddie that gets me the most from Isak. Really sad

Going by Bruno's post 5 minutes after Isak's, it's had a real positive effect if anything

Anyone watched the cup final highlights back since this unfolded? Must feel quite odd.

I have a few times. Thought it would feel odder than what it was.

Jota missing the chance before half time made it feel strange more than Isak’s goal.

Howe is clever enough to use it to enhance our game and mentality. We are at our best when written off and our backs against the wall.

Could be an all timer of an atmosphere next Monday. Should be anyways.
