Benefits of a classic education.

Nice suit, John Phillips. Rumour has it Arafat gets his from there.

At this point I'd settle for the media laying into him and the dismal farce that is top level English football

Most pundits I have heard over the past week and a bit have labeled his behavior as unprofessional and unacceptable.

And then they pivot to how they think he will be sold to Liverpool.

We have to be on it like tonight and the final to compete but we can be, because we don't have an embarrassment of riches we cant carry anyone much less our only real striker disrupting things as much as he has. Its not just its obviously cost us points and derailed our season but the slap in the face of the rest of them that are all hands on deck.

Stone cold case that could go into folklore of future team talks of how one prick can screw it up for everyone.

I still hope we can resolve the issue and have him back fully fit for the entire season, there's just no better options available at the moment, but I also hope his goals are met with complete and utter silence from the crowd and even more cheerful celebrations than normal when other players score.

Spend this first half of the season identifying a suitable replacement, secure the replacement as early as possible in 2026 and sell Isak to the highest bidder outside of England in the summer.

Rant over

He will probably signed a new contract by tomorrow and starting our next game. I am serious. I have no idea how the upcoming meeting between Yasir, Reuben and Isak not related to a new contract.

How can the players welcome him back after that? Yes we are fucking  desperate as fuck now and almost have no choice.

But the way every player busted a gut for the team tonight and fought for the shirt and badge and put everything they had I to the game.

To know our so called best player refuses to play with them because he wants to join the team we just outplayed. It's just such a shit situation.

Seeing that incredible exertion while Isak is on his ass talking with his agent, it’s just disgusting what he has done to this club. Who knows how the players will react, but if it were me, I would have a very hard time sitting next to him knowing how much I had sacrificed while he selfishly watched us flail.

He’s been on strike for almost a month, destroyed our pre-season, destroyed our transfer window, missed our two opening games where we don’t have a striker to play. There is no coming back, none. Just fucking finish him for three years in the PL 2

I'm not sure how he can watch tonight (if he did) and not feel like an absolute twat.

We would have won both games comfortably if he hadn't of been such a little bitch.

Not sure how he can watch tonight and think they're the better bet at the minute. If he goes to Liverpool they're going to have the same issues, sort himself out and he's the goal getter in a very balanced squad.

He'll be out on the lash tonight. Celebrating the last minute winner for his beloved Liverpool FC.

Sell him. Get as much as we can.  Can't be having this in January or derailing another summer. How can he look the lads who put that shift in tonight in the eye ? Don't want him anywhere near the group. Don't trust him to wear our colours again. We've a cracking bunch of players here. He's no understanding of what he's done both good and bad and what it means. He's now the anthesis of everything Eddie's built. Cancer needs to be cut out.

I'm pleased the Let Him Rot contingent here is strengthening

He deserves fuck all and plenty of it, he can get fucked

If there’s a chance to compromise for this season I think it’s better to be pragmatic and do it considering we’ve not been successful finding Wilson's replacement let alone his.

Don't think Liverpool will be back in with a serious bid anyway. They will be thinking Ekitike looks the business.

Isak will have to mend relations.

He can mend them doing three years work experience wherever he likes outside of football

Are people really expecting him to come in and give his all if we keep him?

Well yeah, tell him he's here until someone pays £200m for him. Either out the graft in and show the world you're worth it or you're here until you're about to turn 29. Have fun getting 300k a week then, fuckface
