Never known a more over-lauded defender. He has a couple top seasons when the team is clicking perfectly. When there’s any problem, you see how lazy and willing to let others take the blame he is. Amount of times he sees danger, jogs, now they’re being countered, hes screaming at lads who are trying but failing, finally, far too late he sprints and slides into his net and throws his hands in the air, everyone else’s fault. This will be his 3rd season where it’s his standout trait. His standout trait is elbowing opposition attackers

It was Liverpool or Arsenal as an answer really. Could he not have mentioned a foreign club? Did it have to be English?

KingArthur
12 hours ago, Nobody said: Isn't the big difference really just that Salah isn't scoring at an absolute ridiculous rate like last season? They're playing the exact same way, but last year (and earlier in the season to am extent) Salah would just pull out an incredible finish from nowhere. Salah is affected by Trent leaving. No one playing the long ball to him to start a counter anymore.
Cronky
I watched a bit of Brentford v LIverpool and it was quite strange to see the Scousers being outplayed. Thinking about it, they've brought in five major new signings so there's a lot of settling down to do. It also seems unusual for a club to have a major upheaval after winning the league. I wonder how some players are reacting to having to fight for their place after achieving success the previous season. One or two new faces to keep the momentum going would be more the norm. Isak and Ekitike - is the town big enough for the both of them?

For all his defensive flaws, Trent is definitely bit of a football unicorn.
Lish007
So weird how much i was dreading Isak to Liverpool over the summer and the gloating those awful supporters would do and all the talk of 'we are gonna win everything, best transfer season of all time, biggest club in the world' etc etc. I mean, I almost feel sorry for them. Almost.

He is still waiting at the half way line, but there is no one putting him through or 1v1. That takes so much away from his game.

He may be trash forever and im here for it. See Benteke, Stirling, Sancho, Torres etc many cases of being a perfect fit for a certain club then levels dropping after move. Isak had team setup around him, a Coach that knew how to get beat of him, fans that worshipped him.

It is likely he will come good at some point, but it's not a given. Plenty of better players than the rat have transferred to other supposed bigger clubs and flopped, when beforehand you'd have thought they'd be a certainty to succeed. Eden Hazard, Kaka and Griezmann are some names that come to mind straightaway.
