The little touch to set it just before striking for his second today at full speed was pure lush

Yeah I noticed that too. He touches it and then almost instantly hits it straight away. Pure brilliance.

I'm sorry but that's absolute nonsense.

I really don't think it is. For us Shearer was never the best striker in the world.

I feel Isak is the best striker in the world.

1) when Shearer signed for us he arguably was the best striker in the world. He was literally the world record transfer.

2) Isak is not the best striker in the world. I love him, he's brilliant. But he hasn't even bagged 20 league goals in a season in his career yet. You can't be saying he's the best striker in the world or better than Shearer

Different eras, innit. There's not as many high quality number 9s around as there was then. Imagine how many goals peak Shearer would score against a high line like Spurs' today

Isak is probably a better footballer than Shearer was but in terms of just sheer volume of goals of all shapes and sizes he's absolutely miles behind. Absolutely no shame in that mind.

While I get what you're saying, I hate this whole 'better footballer' because of 'technical ability'. Scoring goals is part of being a footballer and no one has done it like Shearer in the prem. There is also a tonne that Shearer was better at than Isak.

I must admit I sometimes search Twitter for Isak's name to laugh at Arsenal fans going on about him, as I think there is a 0% chance we'll sell him. I could see Bruno going if someone bid 100m, but I don't think there is any way we'll sell Isak. We owe too much on him from an FFP perspective and his value has not peaked. It wouldn't make any sense.

He quite possibly was in his first season here.

Obviously was never the same after the ankle injury the next pre-season.

With most players, when they get space to take a clear shot at goal you get excited to see what happens next.

With Isak, you know what happens next, it's just a question of which part of the goal he chooses to put it into.

Everything must be done to sell the likes of Wilson, Almiron, Targett and others to ensure we can keep Isak and Bruno.

Bruno, Jo, Gordon and Isak are absolutely pivotal pillars to realise this clubs ambitions for top four.

On point one R9 would beg to differ.
