Arsenal will know they’re not going to be able to get him on the cheap. Realistically if they’re going to actually win the league they need a striker and they’re going to have to pay big for one. Whether they can Isak is another thing because there’s a lot that can happen between now and the end of the season such as us getting champions league which would kill

off any chance of him going. Arsenal will definitely target a striker next summer though.

We only know about Arsenal's infantile fantasies about Isak at all because they are based in the same grotty city as the (pretending to be) "national" media.

File all this crap in the same bin as all the rest of the made up Cockney media fantasies.

😂 It’s hardly a conspiracy is it. Let’s be honest there’ll obviously be some truth in it and like Arsenal there’ll be a few teams with an eye on him, doesn’t mean they’ll get him. Money in football often talks though.

It is not a conspiracy, but think about how much repeated coverage this one fantasy gets, and will keep on getting!

There is no reason for it other than the obsessed pro-London Media.

There is no more truth in it other than all clubs fancy all good players.

BUT that is not how it is incessantly portrayed by our non-existent National Media.

Are you so used to this that you do not notice it any more??

‘Conspiracy’ was a tongue in cheek comment. Irrespective of tabloid noise I’m merely stating that I think there’s a significant chance he might go if we don’t get Europe or even champions league and Arsenal will be one of the clubs interested. Anybody who says it’s definitely not going to happen is kidding themselves. As I said in the previous comment lots can happen between now and then and we could get champions league which would kill any chance of him going.

My concern is the incessant (100%) bias in our non-national, national media. This Isak fantasy is just one example amongst many thousands of others.

I will never stop calling it out, whenever and WHEREever I can.

It is important to always call it out, as (sadly) some people are accepting it as the norm, in fact some people are brainwashed enough to accept it as a form of "truth" . . . now that is worrying.

That's what gets me if a club wants a player and he's not far off world class then pay the readies.

Arsenal etc think they can get him on the cheap 😂 when they spunked near enough 70 million on havertz and think isak should be a similar price is laughable.

It’s almost - almost - like a business with finite resources wants to expend as little of those resources as necessary in trying to succeed while turning a profit

There'll be two reasons we sell him:

We have to because of PSR

He wants to leave, because we haven't been able to build on our progress because of PSR.

The end result being we are weakened and unable kick on...because of PSR working entirely as designed.

Just scored a perfectly good goal but VAR called offside on this one 🤣

They actually called offside on him a few seconds before that when Gyökeres received the ball in his own half :Jonny2J:

From BBC's Gossip:

Arsenal have made Newcastle and Sweden striker Alexander Isak, 25, their top attacking target, while the Magpies will consider Everton and England's Dominic Calvert-Lewin, 27, and Lille and Canada's Jonathan David, 24, as replacements. (TeamTalk)

Imagine the reaction to selling Isak and replacing him with Calvert-Lewin or David.
