Just back from illness to be fair. And early days there, so probably unlikely to be dropped into the melee of an Edinburgh derby.

They also had some injuries at the back that needed sorted. Possibly cost him his chance.

Not often you get a match not featuring Rangers or Celtic on Sky. It cashes directly with Brighton vs Liverpool, so will prioritise that, but will definitely keep tabs on it if he gets on, or the replayed version as mentioned above.

Couple of really incredibly thick posts above.

He only started a very small number of games in the A-League as deemed not physically ready.

Yet people are throwing their toys out as he isn’t starting the game in a much tougher league less than one month later.

We've built very high expectations for him on here. However, I'd rather have seen him be playing regularly anywhere than coming off the bench every other game or so. He could do that here.

Add in hearts are flying as well.....never thought he'd get many minutes up there tbh

he is basically doing what he was doing in Australia, but in a higher level league against higher level opponents.

if a manager in Australia doesn’t think he is ready yet, how far down the leagues does he have to go.

he is now training with a higher quality first team, we’ve kept him close to us and probably having his own training plan to get him up to speed.

He is 18 FFS
