Depending what happens in the City game we could conceivably be 10 games into the season in 6th with the fewest goals conceded and having lost only 1 game.

We'd have all taken that at the start of the season I'm sure. 10 games in is usually a good indicator of what is to come and arguably we've underachieved so far with the amount of wins we have.

Today wasn't the best overall but its in stark contrast to what has played out in the previous years at Old Trafford.

Everyone knows their jobs and how the system works.  Now just imagine three or four class players joining our brand new club.  We will blow Man Utd out the water in a couple of years.

Hung on at the end, decent point. Do wish we had some PL-level squad options though.

Yeah, it’s going to take a few more windows to move out players who aren’t good enough and bring in that quality in depth.

Trying to find clubs to take Wood, Lewis, Fraser, and Lascelles won’t be easy. We’ve missed the boat on selling them all to Forest.

If we ever get the current squad fully fit then we are a top 7 side. Nothing to fear.

Can’t grumble about that.

Didn’t think we played particularly well in the final third but Man United are a different proposition to Brentford. Impressed by how we stepped up to a so called ‘big team’ again and caused them some real issues. We were only really under the cosh for the last ten minutes, other than that it was a very even game.

Schar MOTM. Onwards and upwards.

We battered you second half. We're still clearly a far better side. I wasn't convinced coming into it.

We were also missing Isak and ASM, we'd have had a lot more of a cutting edge to capitalise on our 1st half performance or some breaks we did have in the 2nd.

Main reason I'm really happy with the result.

Would have taken a point all day before the match. Fair to say it wasn’t us at our best; dropped a bit too deep at the end there and our attacking play was fairly toothless for most of the game.

Happy with how we defended though. We do really really need to get some quality on the bench ffs.
