Irony sugar on top with Lampard taking off Iwobi, the most creative of their mids. The one time Gray did get in behind, a fine run starting with him doing Trippier inside their half, there was no-one coming in on it. Lampard himself would have lashed that in. The main criticism when Howe was appointed seemed to be he couldn't organise a defense as well. We are now at one again. Never at one point did I feel we wouldn't win this when the match got underway, we were dominant for 90 mins. Everton were rank. Spot on but what could he do with Lascelles,Manquillo,Clark,Krafth and Lewis to chose from.He was having to play Ritchie and Murphy as fullback’s on occasions. Aye, which kind of shows how far off they are. DCL will likely never be the same player again given the injuries imo.
