They are 6 points behind, with Liverpool having a game in hand against Southampton. We haven’t even reached December yet, and are still at least 3 months away from Arsenals arse from falling out. They have a very favourable set of games coming up and players back fit. As you say we haven’t reached December yet, I personally wouldn’t rule them out. HaydnNUFC
Liverpool's 4 after tomorrow will determine whether they walk it or not imo. In all competitions really, they've: Real Madrid (H), Man City (H), Newcastle (A), Everton (A). If they come through the PL games with 7 points or more it's theirs. But they can just as easily drop points in all 3 regardless of Man City's showing today.

I think Arsenal will hit form with Ødegaard back, they are even much better defensively with him in the side. But I doubt they will catch Liverpool regardless. I can see them getting another 2nd place finish this season.

Liverpool somehow believe they're a most righteous club, but their success is on the back of outside funding decades ago (which is now prohibited), and their fans have committed the most awful acts (not referring to Hillsborough). Interpolic
Can't believe anyone saying Liverpool winning the league is a foregone conclusion in November Every year it's the same, Man City falter pre-Christmas then they go on an incredible run right through to the end of the season. Yes they look particularly bad atm and have some problems but I think they've earnt the right by now not to be written off until about March at the earliest
Cronky
As was pointed out by Neville, City usually have a fearsome high press that kicks in the second they lose the ball, and it becomes difficult for the opposition to get out of their own half. City don't have the midfield to do that effectively at the moment, and Spurs were good enough to take advantage. But the game hinged on the first goal, which came from Spurs' first touch of the ball in the City penalty area. City could easily have been ahead, in which case it's probably a different game. But i was struck by City's loss of composure when they fell behind. They seemed to rush things. Walker was moaning all the time, Haaland looked like he'd rather be somewhere else, and they were putting in some dodgy tackles. Anyway, a good watch. I'm ABC - anyone but City. I get the arguments for every other position but I'd be more than happy to see us spend big on another striker like that. We need to replace Wilson anyway. Yes they look particularly bad atm and have some problems but I think they've earnt the right by now not to be written off until about March at the earliest Rodri is out for the season, and Walker being a shadow of his former self. De Bruyne is also aging, and hasn't been at his best for a very long time. Their summer window looks pretty bad, bought Savinho while selling Alvarez. Haaland being their only striker in their squad currently. They have the worst squad the've had in many years, they have more injuries than they've had in many years, and they are breaking records for worst run of form in both Guardiolas carreer and their own form the last 17 years or so. They just lost 4-1 and 4-0 to Sporting and Spurs (at home), 5 losses in a row. The eye test for the last few games has told the same story. I have never seen them play like this under Guardiola before, and they haven't look like their former self in a single game since Rodri got injured. Before these 5 losses they barely managed to beat Fulham, Wolves and Southampton. This is not like every other year at all. Heron
When I watch MotD (and finally don't fall asleep before the end ) I realise the managers I do and don't like far more like. The Brighton manager seems like a real good guy and a decent manager and Gary O'Neil does too. Kinda glad his team have fought for him. Arteta though, my God. What a penis. Disco
RE: City. None of their midfield are overly athletic or are imposing, and with Walker losing a yard, it’s absolutely fucked them on transitions more so than normal. I’m sure they’ll bounce back to some degree but you do wonder if they get beat next weekend whether it’ll be all the eggs in the CL basket.
