Is this better than a draw then?

Can't make up my mind if so :icon_scratch:

Beat Ipswich and it's essentially 2 wins Villa need to make on us in 4 games. It would be a win and 2 draws if they drew this. Fine margins but yeah, keep the teams at the bottom of the top 5 as far away as possible

And/or Forest for me. They’re not invulnerable either.

Yeah that’s fair, just think that they have nice fixtures as well. Just feel that City will do it no matter what. That point over Villa could be vital

It feels better. I'm going to go with that.

Their are 6 teams competing here.  We need to finish ahead of 2 of them, it's absolutely the best result for us for one of those to get no points.

It is worse for sure.

Can see both sides I guess.

Maybe not having both teams lurking is better.

Pushes Villa further out.

I think a draw would be better but it's not the worst result - great seeing Villa being brought back down to earth :yao:

Nah, draw would’ve been not good. Villa defeat means we can draw an away game and they’re out of it because of our GD (if we win home games). Them drawing, meant if we drew an away game it wouldn’t have made any difference.

Is that good for us?!

Yes, its better to let City slip through the net pegging back Villa in the process rather than having both of them snapping on our heels, bearing in mind their vastly superior depth and kinder fixtures

Villa are now 7/1 to qualify. Newcastle are evens. It was a very good result. We just need to make sure we win Saturday whatever it takes.
