andycap Posted Wednesday at 18:46 Share Posted Wednesday at 18:46 I do think allardyce could do the job artetas doing mind. 😂 Arteta has Just devolved arsenal from an easy on the eye attacking team into stoke Bolton percentages brand of football. I'd want him peddled if I was an arsenal fan.

joeyt Posted Wednesday at 18:55 Share Posted Wednesday at 18:55 What do we recon the secret is to all the Arsenal corner goals? Â Is it the way they all start at the back post and run in while the defence are marking zonally and are static? Or is it because their delivery is always properly on the top of the keeper? Arsenal existing on set pieces and constant fouls in the box, he's the first to complain when something goes against Arsenal, but their entire game plan is essentially cheating.

Perhaps getting away with that for most of their corners?

Would also like to know more about this. In this day and age, new tactics become the norm so wondering when it either gets sussed out or other teams copy
Sibierski Posted Wednesday at 19:04 Share Posted Wednesday at 19:04 Brentford will be sliding down to that relegation battle over next few months IMO. Probably got enough to stay up because of home form first half of season, but they’re abysmal away and home games only going to be tougher.

Perhaps getting away with that for most of their corners? They get away with it every game, they have one man on the keeper and one man blocking the defender on the front post. This allows there players to arrive late from behind the defenders and flood the area unchallenged. It's also a percentage game as the ref isn't going to pull it up every time (or at all, clearly). Now if it was happening to arsenal, Arteta would be bleating on about it at every opportunity.
GeordieDazzler Posted Wednesday at 19:08 Share Posted Wednesday at 19:08 They have good delivery and a few absolute units attacking the ball.

NUFCDoog Posted Wednesday at 19:48 Share Posted Wednesday at 19:48 Would expect them to beat Sheff Utd tonight mind, Sheff Utd having a proper wobble lately and Mackems have picked up. Hopefully the Stoke result has dented their confidence.

That will always create chances when you can get runners onto the ball.

Quite even last five though tbh  Sunderland have W2 D2 L1 (draw then loss, last 2)  sheff united W3 D1 L1(loss then draw, last 2)  H2H sheff united have won the last 3.

LionOfGosforth Posted Wednesday at 21:07 Share Posted Wednesday at 21:07 The championship is a joke league, there's a hair between it and League 1, no surprise when teams (like Ipswich) get back to back promotions. Wouldn't shock me to see Wrexham in the PL within 3 years
