I believe Pablo and the Greek centre back was fouled before Raya was touched.

Pablo was bear hugged and hurded by Trossard who wasn't facing the ball towards Raya. Once close Gabriel grabbed his shirt as he went to one knee and attempted to stop Pablo from jumping and pulling him down.

Meanwhile the Greek centre back was again bear hugged, by Mosquera and then Rice.

Raya was then absolutely and blatantly fouled by Pablo, who had Gabriel and Trossard hanging from him.

Saliba was on the deck screaming, Gabriel went to the deck, Rice ended on the deck. Raya finally started to fall and left his feet in concrete and planked.

Absolutely bull call, should've been a penalty all day and even Neville said they only looked at one foul against the Greek lad but concluded it was after the foul on Raya. That decision itself was bull as the Greek lad was fouled by Mosquera at the edge of the box was before same with Pablo.... blockquote widget

It's the first foul and therefore a free kick for Arsenal

I appreciate this is a still (couldn't find the footage), but how could they possibly tell? Did they look at every instance of grappling  including Rice and Trossard and determine it was clear and obvious the foul on Raya came first?

I'm near Girona and there's loads of fireworks going off all over the place all of a sudden  not sure if they do this every time Barca win the clasico or if it's just because they've won the league

It's actually crazy how many fouls were being committed at one time. Look at Rice with his arms locked around dudes waist.

Todibo and Pablo who commit the foul(s) against Raya are being completely impeded during the entirety of the corner sequence. :lol:The least obvious foul is the one on Raya, tbh. The current philosophy surrounding corners is apparently to abstain from officiating the game at all and let VAR intervene to affect the game however it sees fit. Now we have decided the title based upon nonsense. There is only one league on earth that approaches the sport this way.

With as much as you can get away with in the box on corners, one of the dumbest things you can do is put your whole arm across the goalkeeper's neck and keep it there.

Don't even think he needed to do that. Todibo's sly pulling of his shirt from behind would have sufficed, and likely would have been missed by VAR.

It was dumb from Pablo.

Segment on SSN this morning if Raya is the best keeper in the world.

Devastated to hear that all the other keepers have died.

5/6 for Spurs tonight seems like a cracking bet considering Leeds are on the beach

Wouldn't touch them at that price personally.

I do think they'll win though.
