Olympic place on the line for the group winner - England were nominated for Team GB and would have to win and have a better goal difference than Netherlands, if they were to beat Belgium as well. About 90% of the potential GB Olympic squad would be English, but if there are 2 or 3 talented Scots then they can effectively cost themselves a chance of going to the Olympics by picking up a result, so it's a bizarre huge conflict of interest. Love that the media are trying to hype up this narrative! Th Scottish players are absoluley raging about it! I reckon only 1, maybe 2 would make the squad, but outside of the USA, the Olympics is not regarded as that big of a deal in women's football anyway!
