BlueStar Posted Saturday at 18:20 Share Posted Saturday at 18:20 Quote Couple told their 'offensive' number plate was banned now have it on display in garden The Bristol duo who were informed they could no longer sport their cherished number plate, a purchase of some three decades past due to DVLA's recent classification of it as 'offensive', have ingeniously showcased it in their garden instead. To the couple, fervent fans through and through, the digits stood for 'Number one for the Gas', 'the Gas' being an affectionate moniker for their beloved team. Yet, the DVLA has rescinded the plate on the grounds that it might be misconstrued as a racial slur. Hmmmm.
NUFC91
Fair play they smashed us but I hate everything about Aston Villa...got a weird obsession about Newcastle, whenever they beat us it's "ya big day out" it's weird that they still bang on about us getting relagated 16 years ago. Had to laugh at the Mickey mouse cup comments coming out of Villa Park yesterday. They sharp forget that day they relagated us and time after we got relagated at Villa Park they were giving away tickets to get 32k, Just watch that video of Cabayes goal mid week there, thousands of empty seats.. Anyway rant over...

Should he tell people when they come over? (Not as a legal duty, but just as a good thing to do). I reckon he should but my moral compass is generally out of sync with wider society. Does he have a VAR booth in the loft?

JUICE690
Is 4-1 a thrashing? I don't think it is. 3-0 wouldn't be deemed a thrashing. 3-0 is, well beaten. I mean, obviously you have to take into account the manner of defeat but if one teams beats another by, say, 2 goals to 0 (but out played them for 90 minutes), it still wouldn't be described as, a thrashing. Personally, I think 4+ without reply is a thrashing. Having said that, did we 'thrash' PSG? I'd say we 'battered' PSG. Cheers. El Prontonise
Anything 3 goals or more is a thrashing.
Wolfcastle
Don't think you go from 2-0 being a standard non-descript defeat/victory to 3-0 being a thrashing
