I dunno why people in sports don’t realise more games make the product weaker.

They don't care about the sport, they just want more spaces to peddle ads.

Was thinking about how disillusioned a lot of people have been, myself included with the style and quality of football these days.

Osula's goal last night was a real throwback and glimmer of hope that there is still a lot of joy to be found. Feels like ages seeing that sort of thing, a striker sprinting full speed down the wing, taking on a full back and beating them, step over's and an unstoppable outside the box bending shot into the corner. Feels like normally that sort of flair is discouraged and players look for the safe option there instead.

Enjoyed it so much, but adding in the 90+ min factor, the hanging on with ten men before that and getting one over on the old enemy, just made it all the better.

Of course they've aggreed to it. If you made a top 10 play-offs they agree to that too.

Always hated the playoffs and the manufactured bigger picture drama hanging over what's just a mid (now lower-mid) table game deep into the season. Prefer it just to be about the sport and the teams on the day (and their historic records) and think always thinking about the playoffs detracts from that. The rest of the season after we gave up on them in 90/91 was a lot more enjoyable. (Admittedly that's pretty much all I'm basing it all on)

I see there's another Old Firm game this weekend after the one last weekend. I imagine Scottish football is just like this Simpsons meme

Honestly, I’d prefer them to have 20 team leagues, create an additional league with the sore teams and top National League teams, and split League Two into North and South.

They get their close league with everyone to play for. National League teams get a better chance of promotion (4 up 4 down). Less midweek games, opening up for more EFL Trophy games for the lower leagues.

(Read the US intelligence files on this case for more details, if you can stomach them. The 15-man hit squad were flown to Turkey and back from Saudi Arabia in a private plane,

which, by the way, was later used by Newcastle United for warm weather training trips, since Newcastle have effectively become owned by Saudi Arabia via the Saudi sovereign wealth fund, the PIF).

Which club does this cunt support?

Liverpool are opening a club store.

So what? You may ask.

The club store is in London, to go alongside their stores in Belfast, Dublin, and various stores in Asia.

PSG have had one here in Toronto for years in partnership with Nike. I work near it and it’s usually busy.

We should have a “Club Corner” or similar inside Adidas flagship stores, rather than  stuffed between other teams kits on a rack.
