It's the reality though. If INEOS are given a choice, they aren't going to choose Nice.

But it will never come to that.

Lipton on TalkSport claiming the new rules weren’t changed as far as many multiclub owners expected. So as it stands there is a problem if both teams end up in the same competition.

I still think so because INEOS don't have a controlling stake in Man United, but it's a grey area as they're clearly in control of footballing operations.

I don't believe anything is cause for concern though, and if only one was allowed to play, it's not going to be Nice.

I’m sure I read that the rules were that it was the highest placed club that stays in. So ineos wouldn’t have a say if Nice qualified in 5th and ManU in 6th.

Chilavert with some horrible homophobic comments which apparently isn't unusual for him, but I learnt in the comments that former Argentinian manager César Luis Menotti hates Chilavert and has made some pretty funny remarks about him in the past

Quote

What they should do with Chilavert is take him to schools and universities so kids can learn what the man was like 40.000 million years ago. First came Chilavert, then the monkey and then the human being

Quote

A bit of background. Chilavert was close to signing with River when he was young and even trained with the team for a few days but according to him It didn't happen in the end because of Menotti who was River's coach at the time. This is something Chilavert has mentioned a few times and always talks shit about Menotti because of it.

In this particular instance (which happened 10 years after what I mentioned before) Chilavert's Vélez beat Menotti's Independiente and he used the opportunity to talk shit, saying that in those few days he had Menotti as a coach he was only smoking and drinking coffee, and that he's lazy,  doesn't work hard and is all talk. Or something along those lines.

Also, from googling to give you an answer I saw that Menotti also said "he's right that hard work is important, I always tell my players they should work hard or they'll end up fat like Chilavert" lol

I mean it’s literally how marketing agencies work. He’s just posting on Twitter not doing something like commercials. I don’t see anything wrong with it personally.

Quick observation would be playing Carrick centre half ahead of Bobby’s brother. Bit rough on his uncle Jackie as well.

Tbh from what I’ve heard he wasn’t even that good? Also kind of impossible to tell who was better between Jackie and Shearer, but went with Shearer because I had seen him play and the fact he has more “prestige” with in the modern game.

Could have just as easily gone for Brian Clough who was apparently an incredible player.

Clough had an incredible scoring record, mostly in the 2nd Division. Jack Charlton freely admitted he made the most of what he had, having learned how to defend growing up with, in his own words “the best player in the world”. You don’t become a WC winner and hold the appearance record for Leeds (in their golden era) without being amongst the very best at what that position needs.
