Probably. Shaw might be trusted in CB instead. Varane should make it back before the end of the season. Worth noting we're still in two other competitions as well. He's much more suited to a back 5 or teams sitting deep. It was fine with us when we were solely counter attacking and didn't care about controlling games. He's out of his depth now. Something's obviously happened with him mentally during his time at the club. He's been an absolute mess since then. You are still mostly a counter-attacking team that sit fairly deep tbf. I will say however I’m a bit taken aback at the sheer gulf in quality between us and Villa today. We have been taken apart, it was never a close game.
