If we do finish 2nd, it'll be really interesting to see the title odds next season. I bet we'd still be 5th/6th favorites.

Surprised at how far ahead we are of the others at fourth.

I know it's a complete intangible but seeing the Forest owner booting off on the pitch at FT would frighten the life out of me if I was a Forest fan. In isolation it means nothing but it does just reveal how much pressure they're under and how close to the edge they are of losing their collective shit now it's come down to the crunch. That was a massive tell imo and I think they'll really struggle to beat either West Ham or Chelsea now

Spurs rested half their team today, it might mean they go full strength on Friday - as you’d think they’d not want to go into the final having just had a pasting.

Hopefully for them Nuno won't mind being publicly undermined by that raving idiot. He's the best thing that's happened to that club in donkeys.

Everyone needs to pump the brakes on the title talk. Maybe things will look differently if we have a perfect summer, but we need to clear the hurdle of playing well every ~3 days before that’s even a realistic dream.

At end of April--taking into account number of games played and relative difficulty of opposition (plus whether home or away)--we were bang on course average points total for fourth place in a Premier League/ship season. Need three more points to hit the average for fourth at end of May/season. Average for third place is 73 points, which we can't now attain, but I think there is/will be relatively lower points totals across the top positions this season.

Whatever happens - a league cup and a potential CL place is incredible. This is Howe's biggest achievement to date IMO.

Cements his position as our best manager in the Premier League for me.

One thing I would say is that - while I'm not wishing points onto Forest - it's probably in our best interests for them to be competitive v Chelsea.

Obviously we can beat Everton and do it ourselves, it's in our own hands. But it'd be nice if a draw was good enough too, which needs Forest still dreaming.

Let’s just get it done next weekend against Arsenal.

I do feel really badly for forest tbf, just a few weeks ago I thought they had CL in the bag, they were third and had way easier fixtures compared to everyone else. They've really dropped the ball, but still a great season for them.

If you ever feel sorry for forest, just imagine Ryan Yates face, then that feeling will easily drift away.

Beat Everton and job done....would absolutely hate it to be left to a game against Everton though, they've thrown up some shit results for us at times when they've been utter shit.

To be fair doesn't matter really If either had their full teams out, as they have been total shit all season

Most recent league game before Europa cup final results for English clubs.

I did it for FA Cup finals too. Teams who reach the FA Cup final do well in the league games preceding it.

I figure players will be out to impress and stake a claim in the final.

People seem to have forgotten that Man Utd and Tottenham are 17th and 16th in the league

They’d both be fucking gash vs Villa and Chelsea, whether they had a final to play or not

Stop pissing your pants about everyone else, bask in the rays of being 2 wins away from finishing 2nd in the league

Drink it in, it’s the sweet nectar of positivity. This isn’t the bad days of relegations and humiliations

Take a step back and enjoy the moment lads, rather than fretting over every possible negative permutation

We’ve taken 12 points off Man Utd and Tottenham this season so we should expect the teams around us to do similar. Anything less being a bonus.

I'll feel sorry for Villa because of the run their on and Forest when were there ourselves mesel like

Not getting 5th on 69p is quite shocking, and quite likely.

Can end up with 4-5teams on 69 points lol.
