It’s so tight… wish Villa would fuck off tbh. Worried about playing them.

Villa play us , PSG, Man City and a FA cup semi final in the space of 11 days . Thats why I am not overly concerned by them as they just have so much going on. Besides if we win our next two we will go into that Villa game with a nice 5 point cushion over them anyway .

Win the next two and I think we’ll do it. Our game in hand against Palace is massive, that’s the game I’m more anxious about, as it’s exactly the sort of game we’ve lost this season.

No real standout teams there. Man City looked like they couldn't be arsed on Sunday. They still have great players but are not playing as the team they were. The "its the KDB farewell tour" news did not motivate them either.

9 goals scored (joint fourth worst) in their last eight does not bode well for Chelsea, who needed Brentford to miss a couple of sitters to get a point.

Villa improving, but still not convincing. Like Chelsea, if we avoid defeat to them, it will go a long way toward securing CL. Id actually quite like Villa to win the CL, they're likeable and there would be the bonus of them and Emery upstaging Liverpool.

I like Villa for the squad they've assembled and Emery. I wasn't talking about a Mackem-like subset of their fanbase, who do not deserve our attention. The self-styled bantzmeister behind the original bedsheets got featured in the paper and was basically just a claret and blue Mackem.

We have our own arseholes, like Tony Blair, and they will only multiply the more successful we become.

We could get anything from 1-7 points from the next 3 games IMO, very hard to call.

Can’t see us winning all 3 and they’re all potentially tricky games.

4 points would actually be decent except you obvs don’t want 3 to go to Villa.

1 is extremely pessimistic like, we are as short as 7/10 to beat Man U on Sunday, we were 1/2 last night btw, Palace game as short as 3/4, then Villa 9/5, you'd get big very odds on us getting max one point.

Well I didn't say it was likely, but I get your point.

Away to Palace is a hard game with how they're playing at the moment.

Villa away is tough but if we win the next two the prize of beating Villa is all but confirming a top 6 finish and making our top 5 chances even stronger. We'll be at least 8 clear of Villa with 3 wins from our next 3.

Aye - they shouldn't make it but need them out of the running asap. The points need to start getting dropped. Their game between PSG is a banker. If they beat us, they'll be right up for beating City next. Need their momentum to falter.

And they've got genuine rotation options.

And Palace are wicked away. Will have Guehi back. Best thing is we have a good record against Palace and they will be travelling a lot that week. Manchester then Newcastle.

I think we (should anyway) win our home games. Don't like the idea of having to go to Brighton and Arsenal as our last 2 away from home, but really fancy us to do Chelsea and Everton at home. It will be very tight.

I can't shake the feeling Forest are going to make it hard for themselves, it will be interesting to see how they cope if their cushion is down to a point or two. I'd like to see them qualify (obviously not at our expense) and they do have favourable fixtures. Think they said last night they've won 13/14 against bottom half sides?

Here’s hoping Brighton and Arsenal’s seasons have fizzled out by the time we rock up.

Villa really aren't as much of a threat as everyone seems to think they are, win our game in hand and they are 5 points behind us and they also have a tough run of games.

it's still very much between us, city and Chelsea for 4th and 5th (forest have a really easy run of games).
