Forest have been succeeding so far with 40% possession and many single goal victories. They're a clearly a good team, but its hard to consistently do well playing that way.

 

Bournemouth look the real deal, to the point where I might have to cheer on Liverpool against them. This only happens in extreme situations.

When we played Wolves away Arsenal played Spurs and everyone I watched it with wanted Arsenal to win as the thought was Spurs will be out rival while Arsenal are too far ahead. Come the reverse fixtures everyone wanted Sours to win.

I mean i know it is very poor for them still, but it's interesting how narrative and reality contradict each other, in my head Man City seemed to lose every game and yet 18 points...

Tbf as fun as their shit run was, they're now unbeaten in 6 and and that 11 game table will be taking that more in to account than their 1 win in 9 run.

 

For once it looks like they're not going to overhaul whoever is ahead of them for the title, but at this point I'd be surprised if they haven't secured a CL spot with relative ease come the end of the season.

They still look seriously susceptible away from home like. Not sure the new signings will put an immediate fix to that.

 

Have to admit they do look much better at home though. Which doesn’t bode well for a couple of weeks time.

I wouldn't rule Villa out personally, they have kept within touching distance despite being pretty average for most of the season.

I feel like Forrest will drop off, Bournemouth's fixture list is decent, I cannot see them slowing down too much. Chelsea are shite and Villa will be effected by the CL you'd imagine.

I wouldn't rule them out but the games are coming thick and fast.

 

Winning against Celtic, qualifying for the R16 straight away, and losing to Spurs would be ideal for them. Opposite is best for us.

Bournemouth style is best against teams that come out and play though. Against teams that will sit back and be happy for a draw, i reckon they might struggle more for goals.

 

Didn't happen against Forest but they were at home and the first goal went the right way for them.

I'm close to ruling them out. The wins they've got this season, so many times it's very hard fought. Not like they've been operating at a level where a 5% drop off sees the wins still come. I would expect them to be running on fumes when we meet them and that being a game where we can end their UCL chances via League.

I agree but with Semenyo they have someone who can rattle defenders. Kluivert seems to have found his shooting boots too and looks lethal in that pocket ahead of the defence.

 

Isak is a diffent beast now, but a couple year ago he seemed easily marked out of games by a diciplined defence and we never had anyone who could create anything other than Bruno who was usually too far away.

For me, overall, that Bonkers table does open up the distinct possibility that, if LIverpool should falter significantly (and that's quite a big if), then it's anybody's, including Forest, Bournemouth and our good selves. Chelsea have lost their way a bit, Arsenal aren't the same threat without Saka, Man City look like a re-work in progress and Man U and Spurs look out of it.

Liverpool can afford to be top 5 ’good’ from here and win the league. 
 

I reckon they could win the league with 85 points. Think Arsenal can only get low 80 points this season. The small squad has caught up to them.  Going out the FA Cup, skipping the play offs and hopefully not making the league cup final gives them the best chance possible though. 
 

Fixture congestion for City is a bonus too. The levels, age and performances will make that harder than usual.  Bernardo Silva has already played 30 games this season. Atleast 3 more CL games to go. Hopefully 5.
