Time to start putting pressure back on Spurs. We play twice before they play Southampton away. Get into that game within 2 points of them and I'll fancy us.

Haven't looked at the table for so long, can't quite believe Brighton are only 2 points behind us and could have been level on points with a win today.

It'll be interesting to see how we cope with the pressure of our games in hand on Liverpool and Spurs. On the other hand, the pressure may be off as we aren't really expected to finish top 4 by anyone any more.

With no special justification at all, I'm feeling hopeful now. I can't really accept that Tottenham are going to do it.

The next game really big for us. Just like the last half dozen...

We would pretty much have 4th guaranteed by now if we had kept up our first half of the season form.

We still can be if we can turn it around. Go on a bit of a winning streak and we'll be back in there. Chelsea, Liverpool and Spurs are all very streaky for form so whichever team can put a run of results together will get that 4th spot.

Don't think there's any pressure on us now. The talk is Liverpool or Spurs, might help us.

No need to look at the table and put undue pressure on ourselves to finish way above where anybody expected us to. One game at a time now, starting tomorrow. Get as many points as possible on the board and worry about the ramifications later.

Cannot understand why anybody wouldn’t want us to play in the Champion's League, thin squad or not.

It’s not like that’s the only go we’ll ever get at it.

Exactly. Plus will help getting in better sponsors and players tremendously.

Finish top 4 as a PL team and the worst you're likely to do is last 8 of the Europa League.

Win tomorrow, ideally by a couple or more goals, get a bit of belief back in the side and we've got a great chance of going on another decent run. We've been creating chances all along, just need to put some in the net. Hopefully Isak gets a start tomorrow and does enough to hold onto the position.

Agreed. With the money gained from playing we can a.) buy more players b.)attract better players c.) justification for sponsors to pay more ££ which in turns means more players.  It is a no brainer.

Beat Tottenham and Brighton at SJP and it's probably still on. 65 points, or 24 points from the remaining 14 will likely be enough. Tottenham have pretty much run out of easy home games, their main source of points. Brighton's is games against the bottom six, and has similarly run out. Liverpool have lost 7 out of 13 away games.

A win today would go a long way toward raising the mood and getting us back into it.

Must win today. Nervous/excited already, hope he shakes the first team up a bit but I think we’ll win either way. A few changes and a convincing win obviously the ideal but sneaking it with Wilson and almiron starting will do. HTL!
