Pilko
Wherever he goes he'll have a good year or 18 months and then realise outside of the occasional CL games or Clasicos that he's bored not being on the telly playing against Augsburg or Leganes and want to go somewhere else. Kid Icarus
I have no doubt Gordon could go to either of those clubs and kill it like. His problem here has always been about his application and consistency rather than his talent. At those clubs it's clear what the aim is every season so it wouldn't surprise me if he was fired up for every match like he was here in 23/24. Either way his time here is up and has been for a while. Edited May 27 by Kid Icarus

kingxlnc
Barca fans who have been blessed with top wingers will get on his back very quickly. Gordon is worse than Rashford.
The Prophet
Either us or his agent have done a very good job creating a market for him. Should get a decent price if nothing else.
JP
He's a good player, one of our better players for sure, but i don't see him ever reaching that elite level. I'm not too disappointed to sell him, particularly given we're going to get a good fee for him Can see him being an in/out player for both Barca or Bayern who does well in spurts but never reaches the top numbers. Good impact sub for either with his pressing and pace on the counter but his ego would despise that tag. Edited May 27 by JP
Optimistic Nut
He'll look one of the best players in Europe playing for the best team in Germany or Spain. His Champions League performances will likely be the norm as he's against worse opposition every week.
JoeyBartoon
I still have more confidence in Barnes than Gordon when in and around the box.

McCormick
I think Gordon’s really underrated by some of our fans, honestly. Replacing him would be far from straightforward imo; players with that combination of pace, work rate and relentless pressing in the final third are pretty rare. Even when the numbers aren’t quite there, he still stretches teams and suits the way we play down to the ground. There’s a reason why top top clubs are high on the guy. He'll be able to carry on as he was here, getting highly motivated for the really big games and England but coasting through the others. His coasting through will be more than enough to register decent numbers. Think overseas refs will be more sympathetic to his erm, slippery feet than some over here are. I agree that he's underrated but at the same time I'm frustrated by how his career here has gone. If he could somehow consistently play his best and maybe play for the team more he would be brilliant. He'll do well in a team that dominates ever game and plays a lot of poorer opposition. He's not interested in doing that for us anymore though, seems to think he's above it, he even alluded to that himself. Can't wait to see the back him. Rashford has just scored 14 with 10 assists for Barcelona across all comps. Could easily see Gordon beating that without much effort.

Whitley mag
Would we ever receive the full money from Barcelona is the question. I’d be wanting a hefty amount upfront. Edited May 27 by Whitley mag

His ball-striking in open play is quite poor measured against other elite players in his position. I think he's intelligent and quick and that Eddie loved him because he grafted and was able to deliver his tactical instructions. Not trying to downplay his best form, but your description better fits Rashford imo.
