I think we fucked about with Isak because Howe was convinced he would stay, Gordon has been dropped for a month so everyone knows hes gone, we need to milk this just like Brentford did with us last year

Yeah it might be PTSD on my part but I just don't want us to haggle all summer whilst we struggle to sign a replacement. Want it out of the way as early as possible for a nice fee and then just focus on us struggling to sign a replacement...

Ferran Torres as part of the deal please.

Also if it gets completed before the World Cup does it not help to offset some of the ‘lost’ spending from Wissa, Elanga & Woltemade last summer? I assume it helps with the accounting and allows potentially more from the Isak sale?

Interest from Barcelona could cause Bayern to pay more. After Bayern bosses constantly saying Barcelona is broke, it could end up Bayern paying more than they originally were willing - just to make a point.

I would accept Ferran Torres as part of the deal. And maybe Casado.

Great player on his day for us but became very obvious this season he was angling for a move upwards.

Thanks for your efforts and hopefully we can extract as much as possible. Feels like Gordon may have at least gave us the heads up in advance.

If we sell for £60m, we're complete fucking mugs.

Barely getting our money back considering Everton have a sign on

He's a petulant, inconsistent shitebag with the heart of a mouse, I'm astonished that two of the biggest clubs in world football are even bothering with this pseudo-intellectual radgie after he brazenly downed tools.

That said, he'll do fine in Bundesliga/La Liga, outside of the very top teams in those leagues, it's a sea of detritus and he can pad his stats playing against mickey mouse outfits like TSV Frankenstein .01 or whoever while Olise and Diaz save themselves for the real games

Feel like we've fucked it already by dropping him for four games and essentially hoying him out the door, before getting anywhere close to agreeing a potential fee

There’s no way we’re selling for £60m [emoji38]

I see all of the shills in the media are trying their best though

Well hopefully these clubs aren't taking the Newcastle fans opinions into account or we may struggle to see even £30 million [emoji38]

Elanga fee plus £5m. Get to absolute fuck.

Anything will look bad if you think of it in Elanga money terms. He should be about £350m based on what we paid for Elanga.

But... it's Gordon. I mean, he's 'good', he's quick and he knows how to get a foul, but Bayern, Barca all in a 'race' for him? Is he really their level??? And £60m-£80m being bandied around for him? A 25yr old England international? When we paid what, £40m for him, plus add-ons and sell-on clauses included? How does every other club manage to rake in huge over-the-odds fees for their players, but we seem to barely break even or sell at what appears to be discounted rates?

I think in football circles he's very highly rated, has been at all age groups. And now he has the CL exposure.

I do agree he's not really at the very top level though.

The last sale we made was a British record transfer fee.

I think Miley would turn into a superstar if he went to that football culture
