Can’t think of any team that’s sold that many core players and the same time and come out of it in a better state.

They're definetly weaker at this point, but Bournemouth being just 6 points off their points tally from last season (after 26 games) is seriously impressive.

Aye, they’ve done well in the circumstances, but like you say it’s weakened them, and that’s from a position of 9th or whatever, so a slightly lower level.

Yeah, but look at it this way. They only need 13 points from the last 12 to match their score from last season, and they may very well end up gettin more than that. Some of the reason why they're 6 points behind right now comes down to the fact that they were flying high at this stage of the season last year (they were 6th).

This ofcourse wouldn't mean that they're now a better team anyways.

We might keep Hall another year but no more than that, sad to say.

Why not?

He left Chelsea where he was actually getting games to join us, and he’s a Newcastle United fan.

As it happens him and Miley are the two players I have no concern about losing so long as we offer them decent contracts and keep trying to progress as a club.

I reckon it will be Tonali and Tino away in the summer, don't think anyone is daft enough to pay big money for Gordon and Hall shouldn't be for sale under any circumstances.

Whether someone is for sale is irrelevant if someone bids

Because he's literally Messi and we're midtable.

Love Livra, but his fitness is killing us, so if we can get £80m for him and split it into 2 fbs, then we'll move forward quite quickly.

Hall is non negotiable.

Agreed, but I think we’ll price him out, and the lad won’t agitate for a move.

I hope not. I remember saying around the same time last season that we needed CL football to keep Isak and Tonali here otherwise there was bound to be teams trying to pick them off. We got it and we still lost Isak and now there's been rumblings about Tonali.

We really need to be able to pay top wages to keep players here, or at least somewhere in the ball park. Obviously we have to do everything we can to keep them here, but be prepared for every eventuality. Much better prepared than we were last summer.
