pubteam
Gordon and Isak in the same team would go a long way to solving our attacking problems, he looked sharp today.

ASM and Targett will attest to that.
gazza ladra
We were too slow switching play. He immediately changed that with his first touch. (My thought at that second: oh, I was wrong he’s good. Here’s hoping…)
andyc35i
He’ll start next week away at Bournemouth for sure. ASM is generally too much of a risk when we want to play the pressing game even at home and you’d think being an away game it makes the decision easier for Eddie
huss9
sharp, quick and clever. and looks good in a toon kit.

(My thought at that second: oh, I was wrong he’s good. Here’s hoping…) I noticed that as well. We had some fantastic situations but were undone by unnecessary dithering. Very frustrating since we are clearly trying to switch this up, but it's not natural to players who aren't used to operating at such high levels. Not their fault really, we are asking guys who could barely find a place in our side a year ago to play CL football.
Holloway
Looks like he can handle a Claire comment and he's already making new runs in our attack,so yeah yeah yeah
Infatuation Junkie
His second touch of the game gave me a boner.
Lotus
Would think a lot of adrenaline running through him today. Will get a better understanding of his game when he’s started 3 or 4 games.

Gallowgate Toon
Didn't realise he was so quick. There were comments from Everton fans about him gassing out a lot - we might find he doesn't play 90 mins much until he gets a full preseason under his belt. Ronaldo
I think he’ll soon be a nailed on starter for at least the remainder of this season. Can see straight off why Howe wanted him. Quick and direct, always loving to move / receive, will chase down everything and looks like he has enough between his ears to make the *right* pass. Howe player all the way. Super Duper Branko Strupar
He's going to be a great option on our left or our right I think. He's got Miggy's defensive ability so could easily slot in with Trippier on the right and obviously better defensively than Maxi and better going forward than Joe. Think that flexibility will really help with us being able to rotate more and continue playing the same way.
Ronaldo
Oh, and him and Bruno linking up = expected goals.

Big River
very impressive cameo. came on and played with intensity and purpose. think he’s going to be class for us and hopefully gets in the starting XI asap!
Geordie Ahmed
A really good cameo, looked very lively. Think he'll be a real asset once he's up to speed with this team.
LFEE
Shame he’s cup tied. Still think we are an option off the bench to push Man Utd all the way in the final.

BonesJones
Goodbye Saint-Max? As good as he is on his day, the consistency just isn't there. The amount of possession he wastes surely must be on Eddie's mind. If Gordon can just be consistent that alone will be enough to see Maxi on the bench or moved on eventually imo. Gordon looked so positive on the ball, direct as fuck, couple of touches and then a decisive pass or just the simple ball to retain possession. This is where Maxi goes wrong, just never knows when to call it a day and play the easy ball that keeps things ticking. Mostly a frustrating player, occasionally a brilliant player. Gordon should come away from that feeling good, and we don't have the time to mess around giving players a chance that arent performing imo. We need to go all out for a good league finish by using our best players for our style. I love ASM for his unique style, would love him to hang around and come off the bench, but with how were trying to be competive on all fronts eventually I don't see these characters fitting, consistency is the key to winning and he has none whatsoever. Plus bloody annoying injuries. Gordon to start vs Bournemouth.
kingxlnc
He looks to be similar player to Mudryk who went for over twice the price. quick, direct, and ambidextrous fast feet
