Shearergol
Already one of my favourite players. Really hope he proves people wrong this season.
Kanj
Felt the fanbase in the end last night ALL were rooting for him to do well. You get the feeling he could be our next Joelinton cult player.
M1tche
Im liking the look of this short spell through the middle this half
toontownman
Some engine on him. Still running full on at the end. Seems he has really taken the whole fitness realisation of being behind the others to heart. Great to see but hope he doesn't burn himself outl
Conjo
Refreshing honesty. Don't know much about him off the pitch from his time at Everton so it may be that he's been like this all along, but from the outside looking in he seems to have matured a lot in a short space of time. Jordan
Looking razor sharp this pre season
La Parka
Ok. Sorry. He looks like he's got his head screwed back on now. Apologies for being a cunt and slagging his every move last season. He literally was that unfit, not lazy.

Watching some interviews from his time at Everton he’s always seemed to be pretty articulate and mature. He just seemed to get this opinion formed around him because of his niggly approach on the pitch at times and the fact he looks a little bit of a scally. He seems aware of his potential and determined to try and achieve it and obviously realised that the Everton situation could wreck his career before it began. KDT
Full England International by the end of the season? I think so.

If Southgate isn't looking at the euro u21 player of the tournament then he needs to be gone. He probably won't though. Sterling will still be first choice when he's in his late 40's

sushimonster85
Where do people see Gordon playing this season. I think given his choice he'd probably prefer to play on the left, but I imagine Barnes will at least start the season there. In for Almiron on the right maybe? AyeDubbleYoo
Was thinking this too, in other circumstances I could seem him playing the left 8, but we already have like 4 blokes for that role.

Haz
His movement and final pass to Miggy for the goal was outstanding.
Gallowgate Toon
Watched the match this morn and he looks full of ideas at the moment. Love that he got 20 mins up front during the second half and Isak switched out. Those in-match rotations (which are actually natural rather than forced) could really help us if we can keep the majority relatively fit.

I think I’d start him on the right and see if he can nail down the position for himself. He’s not going to be on the left and he’s probably not ready for an attacking midfield role even though I think he’ll slip into that role at times off the wing

AyeDubbleYoo
Almost certain Miggy will start on the right.

Barnes is an out and out winger, and Willock has been quality on the left hand side and bombing it down to the penalty area in seconds. I think Gordon’s game is very balanced. Fairly sure he’s got it in him to play both wings well and in the long-term I could see him playing a roaming role. Did he not play more on the right for Everton than on the left? gbandit
Not a huge number of games at the early stage of someone’s career but difficult to say what the plans are him for at this point I’d say
HawK
Is it a fair comment to say that Anthony Gordon and Joe Willock are quite similar in what they bring to the team? Direct running, goal threat, laying on assists, breaking from midfield etc.
