He just needs a break, has played international tournaments past two seasons (even if he didn’t play last summer it still meant 6 weeks away staying match fit).

Nowt to do with any of that, purely a PSR thing for me.  I look at who we'd miss the least, and imo it would be him if we replaced him with cheaper up and coming player. Big if, mind.

Eddie needs to ask him straight up if he wants to be here next season. If the answer is no then maximise the fee for him.

Difficult one because I think Gordon has the potential to go to a higher level than Barnes could ever reach. If we sell Gordon than arguably we need a top signing in that position. 
 

On balance I would like him to stay and see how he does with a proper rest and pre season.

Sick to death of us never swapping him and Barnes though. Wouldn't mind if Gordon was playing well but he's been poor for ages.
