Could do with Lascelles standing on the sidelines threatening every player that has a go at him, giving a few of them a slap at halftime and full time would give Miley more confidence also.

I really rate Miley, not seen the game tonight but I think he's a classy player especially for someone so young still.

He was born ready for the first team, even in his debut at 16 he almost scored and just looks like he has all the tools needed.

Absolute quality today. While Bruno had the bells and whistles, Miley was absolutely solid. Good thing as he will get lots of action this season and we need him.

Great at dictating the tempo and keeping possession so we're not constantly going at 100 miles per hour all the time.

 

Going to be an excellent midfielder in that mould.

I’m comfortable with him as cover for Sandro and Bruno, but not Joelinton

Can't understand why some continuously want him out on loan. He's exactly where he should be and Eddie has repeatedly stated that.

He's behind a superb midfield three but his time is coming soon.

That said, I can't remember the last time I was this excited about a young player of ours (oooo errr). His ceiling seems incredibly high. It's mad to think that some folk claim he's not even the most talented of the brothers. 

Interesting call. His best attributes including composure and positioning make him a suitable candidate for the role of a ball playing centre back. He is tall and seems quite good in the air. Probably a bit too lightweight right now though

He's 6 months younger than Alfie Harrison, but having watched the match tonight he plays like he's 10 years older. So composed on the ball and hardly ever gives it away. He's got quality in the final third too. I think he could have a great season

Harrison did grow into the game a bit but looked very shaky when he came on. Mad how young Miley is for the way he plays. 

 

Seung-soo didn't do badly for 18 either.

I’d love him to have a proper breakout season and become an elite player. We’ve had players come though but not be truly class, would be nice to have one for a change.

That would be the kind of loan move I think might really benefit him, but we'd need to bring another one in on top of Ramsey before we could consider it.
