It's so heartwarming knowing we'll now get more for him when the ludicrous FFP rules force us to prioritise his sale as a home-grown player. :smitten:

Could we sell him to villa for £80m and villa sell Ramsey to us for £80m then a season later both go back on free transfers. Would that break ffp? Honestly, I'm all about trying to find new ways to break this shit league, even if it ends football.

Nice try, but when you sell them back you'd take the remaining unamortised value of the registration straight to the P&L, so a £80m income from the sale in year one less 1/5 (assuming a July buy, 5 year contract) of the purchase value. Year 2 is 4/5 of the purchase value as a cost with no income. In the third year of the calculation you've actually hurt yourself pretty bad by doing this :coloccini:

Had so much potential, and has dealt well with being thrown in at the deep end lately.. can’t wait to see how he develops next season and beyond.

Detached… Do joint garages not count?

'Link-detached' is what they call them.. so not really detached, but on Rightmove you can say it is..

Not sure if anyone else sees it but he seems to turn and go backwards quite alot...? Or am I just imagining it?

Watch the match cam from Fulham, lots of forward passes inside their full back, lovely weighted balls as well. There's a bit of backwards passes but for me they're keep possession ones, more than say not trusting himself to be bold with the ball imo.

I think he's getting over-hyped if I'm being honest.   He's a promising talent at 17 and does the basics really well but we won't know how good he'll be for a few years.   He needs to fill out and currently seems a bit one paced

Hopefully the limelight won't change him, it doesn't look like it will so encouraging signs but every time he farts the commentary is how nice if smells

There is a bit of that tbh, but at the same time, his eye for a pass is unreal. Bruno isn't the quickest but he shifts the ball so cleverly he can still get past people. Miley is already a good player but he has potential to be a great one.

Fortunately for him he's got the very best in Eddie to make sure that he fulfills his ability - we are blessed with this guy coming through our academy. I bet he ends up being a £50-60M midfielder in a few years.

The new contract is great news, the club just needs to get him some sort of specialist athletics/movement coach to improve his running, he has such a weird style.  I'm sure a specialist could unlock that extra yard he needs.  I know he's young, but now's the time to do it.

His dad has spent tens of thousands of pounds on private coaching sessions for him and his brother throughout their childhood. Probably goes some way to explaining how he managed to come through our academy unscathed.

Hopefully next season we can nurture him a bit more and use him more sparingly. Loan him to the Championship 25/26 season. Don't want him to burn him out too soon.

A young player who’s more than holding his own at PL and CL level and you want to loan him out to a Championship club the season after next?

At a bare minimum he’s a squad player going forward, but there’s a good case to be made for him starting a decent amount of games for us. Balance his work load carefully by all means, but there’s nothing for him to learn playing against cloggers every week.

I just nearly spat my coffee out when I sat down to Sky Sports News and they stopped blasting on about Miggy going and handed over (to that one who looks like the epitome of a cockney barrow boy) to discuss positive news of a midfield signing… Yep. Young Lewis. Like a new… .

I think at least half a season to a season where he's the best player in the team and he's playing every week at the age of 19 is reasonable like. Keep him here and use sparingly for a season, then send him out, then bring him back for good.
