Conjo
Did well I thought. The sub was probably planned pre-match.
prefabtoon
I Really dont agree with loaning Anderson out in January, the lads done everything asked of him. Even though Howe seems reluctant to play him, and when the injuries forced his hand He played well. Its going to be a long season and we will need every player available to us especially if we get into the, CL knockout stages.
Tsunami
Thought he did really well. Kept his positioning and must have done everything that was asked of him.

That said, their second 11 is better than some EPL teams starting 11. Pretty sure the 11 they put out yesterday cost more than any team we've fielded this season. The Butcher
The lad turned 17 in May. Didn't look fazed at all against some of the best players in the league. Massive, massive talent.
Ronson333
Back on the bench yesterday, can see him getting some minutes against Bournemouth with Bruno suspended, probably last 20 mins or something like that.
Coffee_Johnny
Great experience for the lad last night. Hope he gets a hunger for the big occasion. Can be very motivating and wring that extra ‘stardust’ potential out of him.
AyeDubbleYoo
Amazed how composed he looks for such a young lad. Very good signs.

Boey_Jarton
This means absolutely nothing but the lad has a gangly but athletic stature that makes me think that he will be a top footballer
Andy
Was impressed with him making himself available and asking for the ball. Small thing, but a lot of younger players would've hidden in that atmosphere.
Ronson333
There was one point where a ball was played into him in the middle and he was getting closed down by two players, he produced a perfect first touch and moved it on. That first touch is the difference between a class midfielder and a good one. so far this season he’s played Man City and Dortmund away, not bad for a 17 year old and will make other promising youngsters join us. Newcastle Fan
His height is 185cm but he looks taller than that, didn't look out of place yesterday.

Ste
Imagine being that age and coming off the bench in the Champions League man. Class.
SiLvOR
Hopefully he gets some game time against Bournemouth, as we're cruising to a 3-0 win and not out of necessity because we've had 5 injuries in the first 10 minutes
Checko
If Wilson's out for Bournemouth and Gordon has to go up top, wouldn't be against putting big joe on the LW and having this kid playing the Bruno role. Feel he has that technical-holding-midfielder-Pep-likes look about him. That said we've only seen snippets of him so he may be a little way off ready for that. Will fill out I'm sure. He'll be a unit barring injuries.
