The College Dropout
I hope the issue he had with lateness isn’t indicative of a bigger issue with the lad. He’s got talent. He has real composure in the box. Think he’s the type that will always score goals but the rest of his game needs development.

Aye they'll boo Cabaye and Perez but clap a bloke who's never played for us.

Weirdos Honestly, the best thing that can happen is that the shackles come off and we can start buying proper CL quality players due the the ATP rules being blown out of the water. Then we can look back on this as a nice little earner instead of "oh nos, look at what we have lost!"
southernmag
Why should we boo a player who left us through little to no fault or even choice of his own?

Tbf I wasn’t the only one based on the start of this thread. I don’t think we’ve lost a world beater - and even if we have, we look daft whining about it. I’m sure Chelsea look back at the sales of Salah and De Bruyne and think ‘maybe we should have kept them’, maybe Man City think the same re Cole Palmer. I’m not especially convinced that Minteh is in that category.

Lush Vlad
I thought he worked back well. As Tino and Gordon were very direct. Well, at least in the first half. Obviously he scored. So hard to say he didn’t do much. But it’s going straight at Dubravka if not for Trippier’s touch. I didn’t think he did much at all otherwise. Tino had him locked up most the game. HawK
Had the idea of making a smug post when I popped over to FBRef to grab the stats of the season so far, but Minteh's all-round game isn't half bad at all it seems from the numbers alone. At least we've found someone worse at passing a football than wor Jacob

At least we've found someone worse at passing a football than wor Jacob This is why I loosely compare Minteh to a raw Mane (and Minteh is still a raw player overall). He works hard, wins a lot of aerial duals in the box and in attacking areas, great movement and composure in the box and seems a tidy finisher. In a 442 he would be a striker 20 years old - first year in the Prem. I still think he can become a really good attacker. I like Mbeumo but I would expect Minteh to become a better player if he continues to develop. He'll need to improve that build-up game though.
