Really looking forward to seeing him back. His reception from the away end tonight and from SJP on Sunday will be immense. Hope he'll allow us more control in games with looking after possession, especially away from home. Would be huge for us.

Good to have another set piece taker back as well, with Tripper not playing it means we don't have Gordon, Murphy or Bruno on them who have all been poor.

Gordon did well last season. His set piece stats were much better than Trippiers from november, and we could see it aswell. But ofcourse, it's nice to have Tonali for this.

Kieron Dyer about every 12 months after his latest injury.

With Dyer (and other injured players) they always returned with a feeling of dread.  Like yeah it's a new signing... but he could well just get injured again.  Touch wood an injury does not happen for Tonali but at least for the moment it really does feel like a new player without any negatives.

It's even a better player than we signed if you believe the noise.  At a minimum he can now speak English.  Maybe he's also faster, better shot, and has drank the Howe strategy Kool-aid.

Reported as broken up? I saw in the article that she was back in Italy but didn't read it as they'd broken up

She liked the club's post of his interview on instagram yesterday fwiw.

Be devastated if we've lost Juliette so late in the transfer window
