We voted for it, in the long run yes, it’s worse than PSR as you don’t get allowable losses over a rolling three year period - and if you don’t qualify for Europe the rules are even tighter.  The old rules effectively allowed owners to make up for just over £100m of ‘losses’ (PSR book losses) over the three year period.  There are no allowable book losses going forwards - in fact, spending is capped within income levels.

haven’t looked deep into the details but as PSR was full club costs (with exceptions depending on the standing of your club of course) and SCR is only looking a player costs (broadly) it is likely that overall the owners could still fund £30m a year losses and be compliant with SCR

Not sure why he played 90 mins, looked quite grumpy and knackered. Covered a lot of ground as always.

Yeah, there were three, currently irreplaceable players that I felt needed to be protected, that's Tonali, Trippier and Hall. Mainly as there is no direct replacements for them without playing academy players.

So was weird to see Trippier play for 60 mins, Hall come on and for Tonali to play full 90. It was asking for an innocuous injury.

Every time he was sprinting around I kept thinking "calm the fuck down Tonali were 6 goals up, save your legs".

So nearly scored the goal of the season - you could hear he just hit that shot as best as you could strike a ball.  No idea how Pickford saved it.

He needs to shoot more - was frustrating at times he had the chance to shoot but passed.  He has some shot on him and we need to harness it.

I know it's rightly all doom and gloom tonight but actually thought he was excellent today all round, his passing was much better and he was absolutely everywhere.

He was - him and Ramsey were linking up well. But second half he really grabbed the game. Captain-like!

It may well be a coincidence. But he has really stepped up since Bruno went down. Been chipping in with goals and assists. The workrate is there still, TBF it never left. But there is a bit more quality to his play.

One of a few positives today. Can’t think of many more other than Ramsey first half.

When he's not exhausted you can see why he ends up exhausted. He's never played just one position for us. Tonali and Ramsey can be a partnership but fuck me some of the people they have to pass to.

He was really good but fighting a losing battle as half the team weren't up to scratch. There are clear leaders on the pitch for NUFC and Sandro is absolutely one of them.

What a goal that would have been.

He really can strike a ball, like. Hope he starts taking more shots.

Two more goals from outside the box. Think that is like 6 goals from long range in our last 5 games?

Considering how crap we are at creating chances. We may as well start having a go. Especially when teams sit so deep and have so many behind the ball. Might keep getting deflections like today.

Well he can actually strike a ball well so I don't mind when he takes a punt from range.
