I'd heard a month or so ago (via roughly 5 stages of chinese whispers) that the club were expecting Gordon, Tonali and Tino to be off this summer, wouldn't be at all surprised if that's how it plays out.

Would make sense as it's pretty apparent none of them want/wanted to be here any longer.

Even if Tonali cannot be retained, Hall is still needed. Our left wing play is much more dynamic with him. Perhaps we should consider using a 5-3-2 attacking formation, with Hall on the left and Miley on the right. Up front, Osula, Barnes, Woltemade, Elanga would play 2 players from the 4.

On its own I wouldn't mind selling him, particularly at the prices being banded about. His engine, workrate, and tracking back are very good but I think he's also quite overrated by our fanbase in terms of what he actually does.

 

The problem for me is it being part of a big squad turnover, which makes me feel really uneasy tbh, and that he goes to a domestic rival, particularly if it's one that just needs him for his qualities and it makes them massively better.
