Yorkie
Have we literally got the two best CMs we've ever had in the PL playing alongside each other atm? That midfield was absolutely farcical tonight, and Tonali is just a cheat code. If you're the opposition he just doesn't let you do anything. A few ropey forward passes away from being a 10/10 performance. Obscenely good.

Really appreciate that 80% of the time he's some kind of Rodri type metronome, but 20% of the time he's the most complete midfielder in world football Excuse the hyperbole. Pace, power, tackling, crossing, shooting, back-heels, flicks. Probably needs to add dribbling to his game to truly say he can do everything, but yeah. He can turn it on in any part of the pitch, at any moment. Mad to see.
christ
He’s never taken a bad touch in his life.
NotRich
Kanté-esque levels of ground covering and ball use in the last two games. Never thought I’d see anyone near his level in black and white.
alexf
It's like he suddenly realised he had a cheat code engine and acceleration at some point and now he is just roaming around with supreme confidence.
Novocastrian
Running out of superlatives for this bloke. He’s a perpetual motion machine. Is he even human?
Skeletor
Him coming into the team has elevated us that extra level. Dare say our cup success has been down to the fact that no-one can overrun us when he's playing.
AyeDubbleYoo
I mean, signing him to replace Longstaff was one of the first big moves we made. No coincidence we identified a weakness and a top, top quality solution.

Shelveys Hair
When we signed Emre from Inter Milan you could see he was a hell of a player but his heart just wasnt in it for the toon, had everything though. Tonali came as a number 6, trained for 10 months as a number 8 and now looks the complete player

Not going to hedge it anymore. Despite having a player with 24 goals I think Tonali is our best and most important player.
r0cafella
Hes a freak of nature, I don't know any other way to describe him. The amount of time he won the ball tonight was astonishing. Words can't describe how good he is for us. In the way Rodri perfectly suits Pep, Sandro is exactly the same for us.

On the Grid
He is incomparable. Def not Kroos, who was a tippy tappy player. Not the show stealing Gerrard type. Who i admit is a great. He is Sandro...destroyer of worlds

It doesn't feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And it absolutely will not stop, ever, until you are dead. Edited April 17 by elbee909

BergenMagpie
He just fucking gets it. Probably the last guy I'd sell now. Heartbeat of the team So many small things - like battling a shoulder-shoulder duel with Mateta during the penalty and being the first who celebrates when Pope saves it. Also hands on his head in "disbelief" when Murphy scores as if he hadn't just recently scored an even more spectacular goal from the same angle
Fenham Mag
Really hope he wins player of the month but I suspect it may be Murphy as it usually goes to someone with a high number of assists/goals. Both deserve it but I’d say Sandro has been the best in the world at this moment.
