I fucking love him. Even I’m begrudgingly accepting that 100m is extremely good money.

Same.

But, the better part of 200m for players we were already told were likely to leave is great business if you ask me. If we use the money to raise the floor, obviously.

We needed many new players to begin with. Now with Gordon and Tonali gone (soon) we need even more. I'd be shocked if we get enough players in, never mind players of high quality. Hopefully Munoz deal was a one off under Wilson. I just don't feel too optimistic of us getting even near what we need in time. Desperate to be wrong though.

The mopey shitebag looked gutted to sign for us in the first place knowing full well he was gonna sit out for a season on full pay thanks to his own selfish, idiotic actions. As soon as that was behind him and he found a bit of form he sent his agent to lift his skirt to the cartel via Romano. Just like Gordon, a very good player on his day but his day isn't very often and those great performances he produces 30% of the time aren't worth the 70% of pish he serves up.

He phoned it in last season, if Spurs want to part with 100m for the miserable prick then have at it.

I hope we don't sell him, he has another below par season then see the same idiots complaining in 12 months time about us being bad sellers.

So you want him to be shite next season and would rather we folded than win the club world cup.

Sewpa fan you are mind

Nah. It’s everything that happens. Lack of replacements FFS. 1) we haven’t sold him yet, 2) it’s 20th June man [emoji38]

Romano is itching to it hit Here We Go - tweet

Selling at the peak of their powers is pretty much where we are, we aren't big enough in most players eyes to possibly lose their best years not winning the biggest honours(there may be outliers, Bruno I hope[emoji38])

If we could just fucking nail some incomings the outgoings wouldn't maybe hit as hard [emoji38]

Hope we all not going to be disappointed if it ends up being the lad from boro replacing him for 30m and us selling for under 80m

Hes an essential first 11 starter while the sale likely needs to fund more than 1 position we need to be putting good money into a replacement

He's not gone yet. What should we do, say "hang on Spurs, don't bid yet please, we haven't signed a replacement"?

We say he can go, once we signed a replacement. The common thing to do at most clubs. We all know how hard it is already for us to sign players, clubs knowing we have a huge some of money makes it harder.

Say we won't sell till we have a replacement - hopefully that will happen but it didn't with Gordon

People said we need to know when to sell. We didnt want to sell Isak, but Gordon was clearly not wanting to be here and his career had stalled -> sell

Tonali is nowhere near 100 million midfielder, if someone pays that kind of money and promises 250k/week, we are not going to match that. We sell and replace him with 2-3 players.
