We will look pretty small time if we sell him, alongside Gordon, without any proper first team additions.

Hall will be next. Well be left with the misfits from the summer and finish mid table at best. Hammered off the mackems again and folk on here telling us we deserve it for wanting better.

He should have led the team when Bruno was injured. He failed miserably. Get anything £80m+ and it’s a very good deal for us.

Great point. When Bruno was out for a few months we needed someone to step up and be our talisman and Tonali was the obvious candidate. He failed miserabley.

Saying how it's Spurs I'd still be demanding £100m.

Glad to see this chancer go

Had about 10 good games for us In 3 years,

Part of why we had such a bad season, par of why Italy didn’t qualify, no suprise the season he was out with a ban was our best one

his ceiling is high but for me he’s far too inconsistent

They've put a for sale sign up on everyone and won't move quick and pay the correct fees to secure deals. The won't challenge in the courts, won't push back, won't find constant dirty ways like Chelsea to circumnavigate and kept with a manager who horrifically under performaned for a full season. Can't even be arsed to get a decent strip or sponsor ready for it. It's a complete shit show. No one at the wheel. This is not the same club as the one when Staveley was here. She was the only one who had ambition and understood football. This lot are fucking hopeless.

Clubs coming in for our fantastic signings with around 100m bids isn't exactly putting a for sale sign up though is it. We also do pay good fees bar who, Trafford? Don't go down the TCD route of getting angry over the wrong info about Munoz. The dirty Chelsea route is fucking vile and I'd rather the club fold than turn in to that abomination of a sporting institution. And we've kept with a manager who had a bad season but also won our first cup in decades, qualified for the CL twice in 3 seasons and has done so well coaching and managing our players were getting 100m bids for them and potentially silly profits. Also the club who apparently need to be "better sellers" to get as much as we can when the times are right to do so. But not now? Our strip sponsor is paying us more than our previous and commercial revenue has grown a shit load. Hired DoFs with great CVs (whether they worked or not). Etc etc etc.

You'll not hear me say many good things about PIF, but to say this club has no ambition is beyond silly.

You're breaking your own rule, you're still in this football section which has been filled with ludicrous bile for fucking ages, more and more, every single day. Don't get caught up in it. You've supported this club for long enough to understand.

We absolutely cannot have both Gordon and Tonali out the door with zero replacements in place.

This is a critical transfer window and we have plenty of other areas across the pitch which need attention.

Yeah, there's more than a rabbit away now, it's not just coincidence. Isak and Gordon out of the door. Tonali looking elsewhere, Tino and Hall all rumoured to be either fucked off or looking elsewhere too and none of that is good.

Defy anyone to not be a bit twitchy if a lot of your best players want to all leave at the same time. There's clearly something going on.

And all of that is before you get into the fact that the recruitment team trying to replace them are seemingly incompetent and struggle massively to tie deals up. This whole thing is starting to stink, it's going rotten

I would hope, if City are in for him, we can do a deal where we get a good price on Trafford.

This has got to be it for me. We’ve got to sell to a club for either a situation that’s favourable or a ridiculous bid.

If ambition was the reason he wouldn’t be interested in leaving us for Tottenham.

Spuds are reshaping their squad massively. It's what we should be doing, instead we're helping them.

Was time for Eddie to go - we needed a complete refresh.

If they all want to leave then fuck them.

I rather have players who want to play for Newcastle United and give there all every time they get on the pitch.

Isak Tonali Gordon all half arsed it toward the end.

Tonali and Gordon might have been amongst our best players, but that's not indicative of much really.

Losing Isak felt like a huge, huge blow. Losing those two for good coin is just good business, tbh. It's time for the next phase, you need to trade saleable assets for it in the current climate.
