KingArthur Posted Saturday at 18:43 Share Posted Saturday at 18:43 3 hours ago, KaKa said: So it looks like De Zerbi is looking to pair him with that Mateus Fernandes from West Ham in his double pivot, as he plays a 4-2-3-1 setup. Where Fernandes would essentially play the Bruno role of initiating more of the play from the back. If the very little we saw of Tonali and Bruno in a double pivot is anything to go by, and that setup continues to get the most out of Tonali going forward, then this could well work out really well for Spurs. That would be a really bad look for Newcastle, and there will be a lot of questions about why a different setup wasn't tried sooner and more often to try and improve things last season. On a separate note, I am now seeing Man Utd fans freaking out about Spurs signing both Tonali and Fernandes who they have both made numerous thumbnails of in Man Utd shirts. That bit I'm quite enjoying at the minute Problem is Tonali is not very good going forward. His strenghts are totally different

Wolfcastle Posted Saturday at 18:44 Share Posted Saturday at 18:44 Not against selling one little bit but if its to Spurs then it just emphasises the pointlessness of it all and think I'll wrap this bent game of soldiers in before next season starts. He doesn’t want to be here at the end of the day so move on. Yeah, also he’s clearly a cunt if he’s choosing to do this. I don’t like to get hysterical about this sort of thing but the fucking nerve of it. Fuck him.
Marquee Moon Posted Saturday at 18:48 Share Posted Saturday at 18:48 He was unreal season before last, but the midfield just didn't work very well last year. Happy for him to go if we can rebuild the midfield with less 'jack of all trades' types.

The club who signed Trippier, Bruno, Botman, Tonali, Isak etc? Or tried to sign Ekitike Pedro, Mbuemo, Munoz etc? The club who tries to win every cup competition and get to the CL every season? The club has plenty of ambition, the club can only work within the financial constraints which have been set. The fact we can't match 200+ a week is not down to lack of ambition. They've put a for sale sign up on everyone and won't move quick and pay the correct fees to secure deals. The won't challenge in the courts, won't push back, won't find constant dirty ways like Chelsea to circumnavigate and kept with a manager who horrifically under performaned for a full season. Can't even be arsed to get a decent strip or sponsor ready for it. It's a complete shit show. No one at the wheel. This is not the same club as the one when Staveley was here. She was the only one who had ambition and understood football. This lot are fucking hopeless.
Kanj Posted Saturday at 18:58 Share Posted Saturday at 18:58 Max the fee and move him out. Another one who could have been a legend and will never be adored by a football club fanbase like Bruno will. Let that sink to any of these who wanna move on to a club like spurs. ianbeany Posted Saturday at 19:00 Share Posted Saturday at 19:00 If we'd have let West Ham beat us last season, like we should have, Spurs would have been buying Jacob Murphy to get them out the Champo instead of taking one of our best players
