What fee do you reckon we’ll get for Targett then lads? What’s the market like for 28 year old left backs who can’t stay fit and are, at their very best, average Premier League players?

He's been injured. Now hes just injury prone?

He's not average, he's good. If you are trying to get a foothold in this league, he's a good player.

He'd be worth every bit of 5m, provided he can prove his fitness.

5-10m.

Yes he has had some injury issues recently which he should be over come pre season. He’s a very capable and dependable fullback with bags of premier league experience. Good signing for any side in the bottom half of the table who want some experience.

You sound like his agent pitching him to a potential buyer.

Probably a loan to buy for a PL club. Wonder if we really are interested in Davies from Ipswich, could be a make weight.

The scary thing about Targett's fitness is the sheer variety of injuries he picks up. It seems like his body's been in full system meltdown for the past two years.

Unlike Willock, I haven't got any optimism about him recovering, as much as I like him as a player.

Better than setting up spurious threads Jack lad. Need some quality vetting to stop jumping the gun. Pools panel official rubber stamp.

A little link to Finneran again. Also some links for Ritchie to Millwall and Blackburn from the same source.

Absolutely gagging for the dopamine hit of a new signing.

Roll on the euros to take my mind off it.

Aye, when you're in the depths of March/April it can be easy to forget that the Summer window is usually 98% waiting for something to happen, 1% something seeming to be on the verge of happening only to fall through/never have been on in the first place (Barella), and 1% something actually happening.

This time of year is always quiet, I used to love going on holiday abroad, before mobile phones, going to the shop to buy yesterday's paper and read who we were linked with.

I don't think we will do anything before the 30th of June (end of financial year), unless funds come in first, so we ensure FFP compliance.

Apparently the amortization is monthly, so if we bought someone now it'd have almost no impact on us meeting PSR. So unless we're 100% at the limit it shouldn't stop us.

Isn't the rumour that we're actually just over the limit? So it may indeed need to wait till the end of June.
