29 going on 30 isnt old for a motivated and highly professional player see Trippier and Burn when they signed. Its just I don't think Grealish has the motivation or dedication to get back to the levels hes capable of.

That was the point I was making.

It's not his age, just don't see how he would fit a Howe system which is high energy and fast movement. I think we can carry one player like Bruno who is not the quickest, don't think we could add Grealish to the mix. That's without even getting into the motivation or professionalism angle.

Maybe Howe is trying to adapt his system or at least have an alternative.

I think we got to a point last season where teams would sit back in our home games and let us pass the ball sideways until they were able to intercept and break on us.

Is grealish or sane the ones who can offer something else?

I’m Swedish. I also happen to be a massive fan. Low wages.

I'm also Swedish and think Elanga is an ok player. Kind of the same as Murphy but with more speed. Not worth £50-60M though.

Grealish isn't crap like, pep has shackled the lad so much that he gives off the appearance of been past it.

If he wanted to come to us I'd be happy to take him there is quality in him still just need the shackles off and let him play like he used too.

Could play both wings or behind the striker.

World Cup coming up, he’ll be motivated for at least season because it’s probably his last chance of a major tournament.

It’s his injuries that would be a concern for me. Don’t doubt his motivation or quality at all.

Loan with option to buy is the only viable solution.

Can't think of anyone we've been linked with I'd want less than Grealish with the expense involved.

Gutless fucking primadonna.  And he's nearly 30.

Fuck clean off.

One of the nicest blokes in football isn't he?

Must have mistook him for someone that dug out a fellow Premier League winger in front of thousands.

Fuck him.

Think Grealish could still be a very good player but his off field partying means he’s probably close to done as a footballer

Yep, his lifestyle issues mean it's a hard no

Now, I've definitely missed what this was.

Said he'd volley Richarlison if he did his celebration in front of him iirc

EDIT: Was for his keeper up show boating. Not a patch on Grealish's comments although he was smashed.

Shurely if there were any truth to the Grealish rumours, he would be coming in to play as a 10 in a 4231. The pursuit of Pedro also makes me think Eddie is willing to play a 10 v low block, both would excel there.

My stance means I’m bound to condemn it but . Besides, Miggy is harmless and Richarlison is an absolute roaster.

Drunk words are sober thoughts, Grealish is bang to rights.

Can't stand the bloke personally but I try to look at the bigger picture and see what he would bring to the table. But yes that is my gut reaction as well.

I'm pretty sure he and Antonio were also generally taking the piss about him not scoring enough too.

I didn't like the jack the lad type of person he appeared sitting on city's bench and slipping away from the England setup pointed to a serious lack of ambition.

But the videos I have seen of his interactions with his sister with cerebal palsy and other disabled fans as a dad with two severely disabled kids I must admit I instantly saw him differently.

No idea what he could offer these days footballing wise but a loan without obligation may not be so bad.

There's no issue with talent. He'd be comfortably one of our best players in possession, he could play in a few positions and I don't think he's too old at all.

I just don't see how the finances work, unless City think loaning him out to a PL club will re-ignite his value, in the same way Villa did with Rashford but again, City would likely have to pay half the wages too. It just sounds like rubbish paper talk.

There's loads of our lads who will know Grealish pretty well, Trippier, Pope, Wilson, Burn, Tino, Hall for example. If his attitude ain't right, then there won't be any hiding it.

We know that Howe is meticulous on character, so if he did want him, it wouldn't be an issue.

But yes, complete made up nonsense is the likely situation. He'll end up on loan to Arsenal or somewhere.

If Howe gets these results out of a 30yr old, he'll work wonders with Elanga or Madueke.

Threw Barcola in, would love a mad bid for him, beats them all for me.
