NUFC Transfer Rumours

Recommended Posts

On the bright side, we’re now known to be working on at least two deals simultaneously, so we can put the ‘one at a time’ nonsense to bed. Who knows what other wondrous surprises there are in store following yesterday’s bombshell.

Signing Nick Jackson?

Ooh, are you for real?

He's very raw but I reckon Eddie could shape him into a decent asset. But not for £80m

Agreed. Don’t think anyone on planet earth would have taken Big Joe when he was playing upfront for us and Eddie played a blinder with him.

Jackson's wages would be way out of our scope anyway you'd think.

He’s supposedly on about 100k.

Tbh I think he’s probably the best we could do in terms of replacing Isak’s goals, but the price is impossible to meet. It’s designed solely for PIF Saudi league clubs.

Do we arguably need two decent centre backs now with Botman proving to be a perma-crock?

Hmm, I don't think you can really assume he's going to be injured all the time. Certainly you can't build your squad with that assumption because he still takes up a place and still needs to be paid.

I wouldn't go too crazy over a tight groin in pre-season.
