I think Ramos is by far the least uninspiring of all the remaining “Isak Replacements” that have been floated by the media.

He’s better than Jackson & Strand Larsen and Watkins is approaching 30. Apart from Samu he’s by far the best option

Woltemade is the only one really and he's not even linked. Samu maybe in the future.

Samu needs another year before I'd be wiling to bet big money on him and at that point he'll probably be too big for us :yao:

I find it pretty surprising how many scoff at the Ramos suggestion. The dude managed to score a boatload of goals from the bench. He is not lightning quick, but he's not slow either. But he has all sorts of other attributes as a striker. He links up well. He is strong. And a deadly finisher.

Panic buy in what sense ? His goal record is pretty good where ever he’s gone

Already at a top club and winning things. Seen it 1000 times… he’d hardly lift a leg IMO that ship has sailed. Comes across as a wanker also… and proven to be

Closes down like a madman too, so will fit our style. There's a reason we've been looking at him for a while.

If we bought him from Benfica in 2023 people would be buzzing with it

The problem is nobody is , but Wissa and Ramos is probably better than a sulky half arsed Isak plus Wilson

Sum total of its parts. 2 strikers scoring with good fitness records v the alternative.

Because he would’ve still had that desire to climb Everest. Won it all since. It’s a no for me. Get someone hungry in.

It's slim pickings at the minute though he may be the best option.

We did that with Isak and he wants to go for more.

Surely someone like Ramos who's already won the lot, would be more inclined to have a crack at taking us to the top?

Not gonna lie I think judging his perceived character and desire to still push himself just because he happens to be part of a successful team to be quite weird. Yes, in theory someone younger who hasn't experienced what he has experienced at PSG could possibly be hungrier to succeed but that's not necessarily true.

That's something that is unique to each individual person and i'm pretty sure the club will have done the necessary research to know whether that's going to be an issue or not.

It’s a fair point but also quite an assumption. Think he’d be motivated to play in the premier league and lead the line in the CL rather than sit on the bench. I know that’s also an assumption from me too. I just think him & Samu are the best options.

Ramos would be a good player for us. He’s probably not a bit more than he can chew at PSG, but for us he’d be a good signing. It would be an ideal scenario if Isak goes to PSG instead of Liverpool.

IF we lose him this window please let it not be to Liverpool. This would be a good alternative!

The logic of "he's won it all so he's not going to push himself" is really flawed, every player wants to push himself to win as many accolades as possible, they get the the level the are at by having an elite drive to succeed, someone at 24 isn't just going to stop having that after one really good season. By that logic, PSG as a team are just going to half ass it all season.

Once you’ve tried  really good steak you want to keep eating it. He’d help us raise our bar.

Yeah this isn’t like Alan Smith, Michael Owen and Nicky butt coming here or Grealish going to Everton after winning everything.
