NUFC Transfer Rumours

What's the source for this? I don't think we go for a CB this window.

The bid however real for that RW might seem to suggest a hope of a sale of one of murphy or elanga. It could also suggest the club may also be thinking Murphy is in his final year and we need succession planning.

This may be the case at CB both burn and schar are now have 12 months left signing someone to bed in next season may be better than letting players go then look to recruit.

Not saying it will happen mind already plenty of immediate concerns and unknowns of who will get sold or leave this summer to also consider.

Spanish media side - El Chiringuito - so probably the equivalent of Alex Crook and Ben Jacobs’ mutual fluffing session on TalkSport.

La Revista de los Fluffers.

I'm just parroting the thoughts of the local journalists whove mentioned we are looking at one in one out and the gaffa not wanting huge changes.

Aye I know what you mean.

I still think that we want to bring the age of the squad down. We can't bring ready made immediate first 11 purchases. We have older players on now short contracts.

Taking all this into account if money and viable targets allow then getting them this summer put no pressure to immediately start or howe having to immediately use them may not be a bad thing.

Don't see it personally too much already to do with I assume limited budget just still surprised that bid for the RW when I cant see elanga or murphy going.

We all know bold journo statements have to be taken with a pinch of salt previous summers we have heard stuff like only have 50m to spend etc.

Howes own comments about not too many changes at once may also be taken with a pinch of salt. The seasons performance review may have changed his mind on his own assembled side. Also bringing in 3 or 4 to the first 11 but 2 or 3+ more for the wider squad may be an ok compromise.

Just spitballing here but if we don't see this lad as number one straight away, but want rid of Pope anyway, could we look to some 'safe pair of hands' as a relatively short term addition? Someone like Leno from Fulham just as a for instance.

Stop gap would be an option but they cost money and we essentially have what is a stop gap in pope already.

I'm really interested to see where we go with this.

I think we'll do that regardless of whether Pope leaves or not, it just depends if "safe pair of hands" is a Ruddy replacement on the wind-down (Pope stays) or someone who we think can challenge & help Jaouen directly for a year or two and provide bench and cup cover (Pope goes).

Seems to have gone quiet on Pardo. Was hoping to see that heat up quickly.

Munoz - Pardo - Yohanna?

That's so exciting compared to our current circa £250m front 3 options 😂

The talk of this Munoz fella has triggered me to look up how Victor Fernandez is doing in our reserves.

He's 28, playing in Greece 2nd division and left us 6 years ago.  My heads fried

Once Martinez turns 18 and Wissa comes good we're looking at this next season

Johan - Yoane - Yohanna

They buttering us up to take tino like?

Would be another shift in ethos if we did Howe has very much said on record he doesnt like loans as its seen as developing a player over one of your own that's not yours.
