DCL is a name the media hacks were thrown three years ago, and they’re still running with it. Even if we were ever in for him our plans have changed so much since then that I doubt the board have thought about him in any short-medium term transfer discussions. He’s three years older now and has basically done next to nothing in those three years. He’ll be at Southampton or something next year, not here.

Any idea on how much we'll have to spend? How come Chelsea, Man Utd etc can just spend at will but even though we're one of the richest clubs in the world, we can hardly spend anything?

This is old news but the cartel clubs have huge turnovers that absolutely blow our's out of the water. It's why the rules were put in place and further tinkered with, specifically, to hinder us. Basing allowed expenditure on a % of turnover is the killer, deliberately. 

We're NOT the richest club in the world, by some measure. Just have the richest owners*

CB is priority and thats bizarre to say given that we've only got one RW.

 

I suppose my logic is that Eddie Howe is a positive manager and relies on the quality of his CBs to deal with counter attacks. We are always going to score goals under Howe, but we could concede ALOT of goals next year if we don't get someone to help Schar.

 

But yes, RW should be close 2nd and if we can find someone who can cover ST (Mbuemo) happy days.
