healthyaddiction
For me, it all depends on the price. Wissa is a proven performer in the Premier League. More guaranteed to be a success than Ekitike, and more likely to not cause a fuss when playing from the bench. Would hopefully leave funds for us to improve elsewhere. I assume we’d have to stump up somewhere in the region of £30m and he’s a bit older but he’d be a huge upgrade on Wilson. 40m+ was touted earlier in the summer. I'm sure in a few years a club starting with Al would love a chance to sign him.

We want someone who can drop and play as a 10 in a more creative role with Isak leading the line. Not sure we're only looking at that specific profile, as we went for Delap. Ramos is not a dynamic creator like Pedro and Ekitike are, but more of a link up forward with slick first touches and first time layoffs and passes. Would still work well in a support striker role. More of a Teddy Sheringham type than a Rooney if you will.

The Prophet
Good player, but he's about to turn 29 and Brentford want £50 million.
Bunk Moreland
Would be a shame if us buying Wissa meant Manure couldn't get Mbeumo
Joey47
Added bonus of giving Brentford more bargaining power to get more money from the Mbuemo sale?
aussiemag
He’d be a great signing for 3 or 4 years. But he’s a depreciating asset. So you wouldn’t want to pay more than 40 mill for him.

christ
Don’t forget the halo effect of signing Wissa would be making the Mbeumo deal even harder to do for Man United. Get it done.

Vaj
Yeah they asked for £50m from Forest which is far too much for his age. Would be ok with this if he was £35/40m max, but think they’ll try and milk us for more and anymore would be too much for me

Not my favourite move either, at all, but what if there are no long term targets / targets in the mould of Pedro/Ekitike A cheaper stop-gap singing might be the best, rather than spend more on a signing we aren't convinced by, or do nothing for this position
Geordie Magpie
Great player Wissa but probably cost circa £50m for a 28 year old, doesn't feel our type of signing, nice to see we've quickly moved from ekitike so doesn't drag all summer!
