This is how we should be viewing alternatives tbh. We can be sniffy about youtube scouting, but some of those mentioned have gone to PL clubs, one of them to Aston Villa. Might be a gamble, but probably a better option than Anthony Gordon up front.

Hardly, we'll have a list of ranked targets, we'll work through from best first, if that's a no goer we'll move onto the next one, one man's "one at a time" is another man's common sense.

 

Multi positions will be looked at in parallel.

God we're so desperate for 2 strikers and we can't get 1 over the line. If we don't sort something in the next fortnight I think we can write off this season. Too many games for a relatively thin squad. It's canny embarrassing like. I know we've tried but I think we've missed out on perfectly good options. 2 have gone to Forest ffs.

At the moment it looks like Anthony Gordon is the alternative to Wilson. Not sure I fancy that much tbh.

A good striker is the difference between competing for top 5 and finishing around 10-12 for me. But it seems we’re waiting around for a player that isn’t really available.
