Debatable.

We were by far the better team and played a quarter v 10 men. A competent striker and we win that game. We can debate it but I’d always fall on 2 points lost

Any players in the championship we could go for?

Lathe lath did ok for the smoggies until they sold him to Atlanta last Jan. Eddie type. Properly scraping the barrel now though.

For all the territory, we barely created anything though.

Most of the chances we did have came from Gordon's tireless pressing.

Basically, it's impossible to say and I'm pretty satisfied with the point.

Isak scores that Gordon header imo Regardless we’ll never know

Seen some itk claiming we’re after Moise Kean. Noticed he’s still only 25 and was banging them in for Fiorentina last season.

Seems to be his only good season though and did nowt at Juventus.

He had a release clause active earlier in the window. The time to sign him has probably gone

I can’t believe I’m reluctantly coming round to thinking Jackson might not be too bad. What a shambles

When he made his debut (I think) against us in America I thought he looked very good. Very quick off the mark. Great pressing energy. Took his goal lovely. Clearly lost the confidence of his manager and himself. Would be another Howe fixer-upper

I think him & Isak would be very decent

Unless something happens quick we are going in to the Liverpool game with no striker :suicide:

There's no way, even if we got one in over the weekend, they'd be starting against Liverpool.

Time to shine Big Willy.

Wouldn't be so sure. For all we like to make out Eddie always beds players in there was an exception.......at centre forward. Played him 5 days after signing in quite a big game.

Chris Wood got a start two days after signing too.

Vlahovic freaked me out last year at the Euros as he got pushed around and bullied at times, but I do wonder if I was being too harsh.

They are apparently after just £25 million for him and he is willing to half his gargantuan wages which would still have him at around £170,000 a week.

He's only just turned 25 this year and his goal scoring record is still really good despite being just okay since he joined Juventus.

I think at Fiorentina they played a more direct high tempo style if I'm not mistaken and that's when he was really looking at his best.

Maybe the Italian fella on here can give his insight on what he thinks and how he might fit at Newcastle?

Any thoughts @Curva Sud Milano?

He had a horrible season at Juventus, yet he still scored 10 goals in 29 games (often coming off the bench). Juventus fans hate him and the club wants to sell him for his monstrous salary... I don't know where you read £25, but in Italy we know he can leave for €20 million and at that price I think it's a good deal. He is Slavic and like all Slavs their performances, when they leave their country, are absolutely unpredictable (at least in Italy it has always been like this).

Considering that you play in the Champions League, someone with his experience could be very useful.

We do seem to be moving into the "we might be fucked" stage of this  No striker in the team, Brentford running an extortion racket with Wissa, and seemingly nobody we'd want to pay 50m+ for left available anywhere in Europe.

To Paula Cole’s where have all the cowboys gone:

Where is Alexander Isak?

Where is his magic touch?

Where is his up front partner?

Where have all the strikers gone?

Where have all the strikers gone?

Where have all the strikers gone?
