NUFC Transfer Rumours

I'd go for Vlahovic give them a few quid get the big bugger in the club.

Then hopefully get another before end of the window.

Juventus want rid of the striker so will probably flog him cheap.

Vlahovic freaked me out last year at the Euros as he got pushed around and bullied at times, but I do wonder if I was being too harsh.

They are apparently after just £25 million for him and he is willing to half his gargantuan wages which would still have him at around £170,000 a week.

He's only just turned 25 this year and his goal scoring record is still really good despite being just okay since he joined Juventus.

I think at Fiorentina they played a more direct high tempo style if I'm not mistaken and that's when he was really looking at his best.

Maybe the Italian fella on here can give his insight on what he thinks and how he might fit at Newcastle?

Any thoughts @Curva Sud Milano?

Vardy's camp issued what was essentially a 'come get me plea' to Celtic in the Scottish Sun. If he’s at the point where he's tweaking for a Scottish team, the chances are he's had the door slammed shut in his face everywhere in England.

Absolute non starter.

Vlahovic really isn't a Wor Eddie player.

Immobile and soft as shite. A Serbian Shola.

Just looked at his last season goals and assists he looks mobile like decent pace a lefty takes pens aswell got a canny dig on him aswell. Used to the black and white aswell.

Like Tino and Hall?

Well there is a difference between a 18 and 19 year old youth player who can’t make the team and players they want to replace.

Time is really ticking now. I don't think it's a terrible shout if other options fall away.

If things don't work out he'd also be a prime Saudi flip candidate, as a number of his international team mates have gone over there, so he'll probably be open to it.

I was all on the Vlahovic train when we were linked before he joined Juve but it hasn't gone well.

Perhaps I'm bring harsh, but whenever I've seem him for Fiorantina or Juventus he just doesn't looked like a very good footballer. I think he'd really struggle in the Premier League, never mind a high intensity pressing side.

How would folk feel about Strand Larsen? He feels very Howe.

Best of the bunch and as you say very Howe. Could work well with 2 pacy wide men alongside him.

If Wissa isn’t coming I don’t see where else we turn at this late stage, he also represents better long term value than Watkins.

Probably the best of the bunch mentioned, feels like an impossible deal to do at this stage though.

And thats the challenge with most of the names bandied about, ok-ish options but absolutely no time left to conclude a deal when you trying to get a club to sell you a player they have no intention of selling, at a price at which they have no intention of entertaining, and then expecting them to find a replacement....gonna stop typing now, I think it should be fairly obvious

Same could be said about Liverpool trying to get Isak.

Yeah, he looked very good at Fiorentina back then.
